36- Surah Ya-Sin

سُورَةُ یسٓالمكية83بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖیمِیسٓ١وَالْقُرْءاٰنِ الْحَكٖیمِ٢اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلٖینَ٣عَلٰی صِراٰطٍ مُسْتَقٖیمٍ٤تَنْزٖیلَ الْعَزٖیزِ الرَّحٖیمِ٥لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مآٰ اُنْذِرَ ءاٰبآٰؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غاٰفِلُونَ٦لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلٰٓی اَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاٰ یُؤْمِنُونَ٧اِنّاٰ جَعَلْناٰ فٖیٓ اَعْناٰقِهِمْ اَغْلاٰلًا فَهِیَ اِلَی الْاَذْقاٰنِ فَهُمْ مُقْمَحُونَ٨وَجَعَلْناٰ مِنْ بَیْنِ اَیْدٖیهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَیْناٰهُمْ فَهُمْ لاٰ یُبْصِرُونَ٩وَسَوآٰءٌ عَلَیْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لاٰ یُؤْمِنُونَ١٠اِنَّماٰ تُنْذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِیَ الرَّحْمٰنَ بِالْغَیْبِۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَاَجْرٍ كَرٖیمٍ١١اِنّاٰ نَحْنُ نُحْیِی الْمَوْتٰی وَنَكْتُبُ ماٰ قَدَّمُوا وَءاٰثاٰرَهُمْۚ وَكُلَّ شَیْءٍ اَحْصَیْناٰهُ فٖیٓ اِماٰمٍ مُبٖینٍ١٢وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا اَصْحاٰبَ الْقَرْیَةِ اِذْ جآٰءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ١٣اِذْ اَرْسَلْنآٰ اِلَیْهِمُ اثْنَیْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُماٰ فَعَزَّزْناٰ بِثاٰلِثٍ فَقاٰلُوٓا اِنّآٰ اِلَیْكُمْ مُرْسَلُونَ١٤قاٰلُوا مآٰ اَنْتُمْ اِلّاٰ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُناٰ وَمآٰ اَنْزَلَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مِنْ شَیْءٍ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلّاٰ تَكْذِبُونَ١٥قاٰلُوا رَبُّناٰ یَعْلَمُ اِنّآٰ اِلَیْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ١٦وَماٰ عَلَیْنآٰ اِلَّا الْبَلاٰغُ الْمُبٖینُ١٧قاٰلُوٓا اِنّاٰ تَطَیَّرْناٰ بِكُمْۖ لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَیَمَسَّنَّكُمْ مِنّاٰ عَذاٰبٌ اَلٖیمٌ١٨قاٰلُوا طآٰئِرُكُمْ مَعَكُمْۖ اَئِنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْۚ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُسْرِفُونَ١٩وَجآٰءَ مِنْ اَقْصَا الْمَدٖینَةِ رَجُلٌ یَسْعٰی قاٰلَ یاٰ قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلٖینَ٢٠ٱِتَّبِعُوا مَنْ لاٰ یَسْئَلُكُمْ اَجْرًا وَهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ٢١وَماٰ لِیَ لآٰ اَعْبُدُ الَّذٖی فَطَرَنٖی وَاِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٢٢ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِهٖٓ ءاٰلِهَةً اِنْ یُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لاٰ تُغْنِ عَنّٖی شَفاٰعَتُهُمْ شَیْئًا وَلاٰ یُنْقِذُونِ٢٣اِنّٖیٓ اِذًا لَفٖی ضَلاٰلٍ مُبٖینٍ٢٤اِنّٖیٓ ءاٰمَنْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُونِ٢٥قٖیلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَۖ قاٰلَ یاٰ لَیْتَ قَوْمٖی یَعْلَمُونَ٢٦بِماٰ غَفَرَ لٖی رَبّٖی وَجَعَلَنٖی مِنَ الْمُكْرَمٖینَ٢٧ وَمآٰ اَنْزَلْناٰ عَلٰی قَوْمِهٖ مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِنَ السَّمآٰءِ وَماٰ كُنّاٰ مُنْزِلٖینَ٢٨اِنْ كاٰنَتْ اِلّاٰ صَیْحَةً واٰحِدَةً فَاِذاٰ هُمْ خاٰمِدُونَ٢٩یاٰ حَسْرَةً عَلَی الْعِباٰدِۚ ماٰ یَأْتٖیهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ اِلّاٰ كاٰنُوا بِهٖ یَسْتَهْزِءُونَ٣٠اَلَمْ یَرَوْا كَمْ اَهْلَكْناٰ قَبْلَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ اَنَّهُمْ اِلَیْهِمْ لاٰ یَرْجِعُونَ٣١وَاِنْ كُلٌّ لَمّاٰ جَمٖیعٌ لَدَیْناٰ مُحْضَرُونَ٣٢وَءاٰیَةٌ لَهُمُ الْاَرْضُ الْمَیْتَةُ اَحْیَیْناٰهاٰ وَاَخْرَجْناٰ مِنْهاٰ حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ یَأْكُلُونَ٣٣وَجَعَلْناٰ فٖیهاٰ جَنّاٰتٍ مِنْ نَخٖیلٍ وَاَعْناٰبٍ وَفَجَّرْناٰ فٖیهاٰ مِنَ الْعُیُونِ٣٤لِیَأْكُلُوا مِنْ ثَمَرِهٖ وَماٰ عَمِلَتْهُ اَیْدٖیهِمْۚ اَفَلاٰ یَشْكُرُونَ٣٥سُبْحاٰنَ الَّذٖی خَلَقَ الْاَزْواٰجَ كُلَّهاٰ مِمّاٰ تُنْبِتُ الْاَرْضُ وَمِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَمِمّاٰ لاٰ یَعْلَمُونَ٣٦وَءاٰیَةٌ لَهُمُ الَّیْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهاٰرَ فَاِذاٰ هُمْ مُظْلِمُونَ٣٧وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرٖی لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهاٰۚ ذٰلِكَ تَقْدٖیرُ الْعَزٖیزِ الْعَلٖیمِ٣٨وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْناٰهُ مَناٰزِلَ حَتّٰی عاٰدَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدٖیمِ٣٩لَا الشَّمْسُ یَنْبَغٖی لَهآٰ اَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا الَّیْلُ ساٰبِقُ النَّهاٰرِۚ وَكُلٌّ فٖی فَلَكٍ یَسْبَحُونَ٤٠وَءاٰیَةٌ لَهُمْ اَنّاٰ حَمَلْناٰ ذُرِّیَّتَهُمْ فِی الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ٤١وَخَلَقْناٰ لَهُمْ مِنْ مِثْلِهٖ ماٰ یَرْكَبُونَ٤٢وَاِنْ نَشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلاٰ صَرٖیخَ لَهُمْ وَلاٰ هُمْ یُنْقَذُونَ٤٣اِلّاٰ رَحْمَةً مِنّاٰ وَمَتاٰعًا اِلٰی حٖینٍ٤٤وَاِذاٰ قٖیلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا ماٰ بَیْنَ اَیْدٖیكُمْ وَماٰ خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ٤٥وَماٰ تَأْتٖیهِمْ مِنْ ءاٰیَةٍ مِنْ ءاٰیاٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ اِلّاٰ كاٰنُوا عَنْهاٰ مُعْرِضٖینَ٤٦وَاِذاٰ قٖیلَ لَهُمْ اَنْفِقُوا مِمّاٰ رَزَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُ قاٰلَ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوٓا اَنُطْعِمُ مَنْ لَوْ یَشآٰءُ اللّٰهُ اَطْعَمَهُۥٓ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلّاٰ فٖی ضَلاٰلٍ مُبٖینٍ٤٧وَیَقُولُونَ مَتٰی هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صاٰدِقٖینَ٤٨ماٰ یَنْظُرُونَ اِلّاٰ صَیْحَةً واٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ یَخِصِّمُونَ٤٩فَلاٰ یَسْتَطٖیعُونَ تَوْصِیَةً وَلآٰ اِلٰٓی اَهْلِهِمْ یَرْجِعُونَ٥٠وَنُفِخَ فِی الصُّورِ فَاِذاٰ هُمْ مِنَ الْاَجْداٰثِ اِلٰی رَبِّهِمْ یَنْسِلُونَ٥١قاٰلُوا یاٰ وَیْلَناٰ مَنْ بَعَثَناٰ مِنْ مَرْقَدِناٰۗࣝ هٰذاٰ ماٰ وَعَدَ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ٥٢اِنْ كاٰنَتْ اِلّاٰ صَیْحَةً واٰحِدَةً فَاِذاٰ هُمْ جَمٖیعٌ لَدَیْناٰ مُحْضَرُونَ٥٣فَالْیَوْمَ لاٰ تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَیْئًا وَلاٰ تُجْزَوْنَ اِلّاٰ ماٰ كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ٥٤اِنَّ اَصْحاٰبَ الْجَنَّةِ الْیَوْمَ فٖی شُغُلٍ فاٰكِهُونَ٥٥هُمْ وَاَزْواٰجُهُمْ فٖی ظِلاٰلٍ عَلَی الْاَرآٰئِكِ مُتَّكِئُونَ٥٦لَهُمْ فٖیهاٰ فاٰكِهَةٌ وَلَهُمْ ماٰ یَدَّعُونَ٥٧سَلاٰمٌ قَوْلًا مِنْ رَبٍّ رَحٖیمٍ٥٨وَامْتاٰزُوا الْیَوْمَ اَیُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ٥٩اَلَمْ اَعْهَدْ اِلَیْكُمْ یاٰ بَنٖیٓ ءاٰدَمَ اَنْ لاٰ تَعْبُدُوا الشَّیْطاٰنَۖ اِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبٖینٌ٦٠وَاَنِ اعْبُدُونٖیۚ هٰذاٰ صِراٰطٌ مُسْتَقٖیمٌ٦١وَلَقَدْ اَضَلَّ مِنْكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثٖیرًاۖ اَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ٦٢هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتٖی كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ٦٣ٱِصْلَوْهَا الْیَوْمَ بِماٰ كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ٦٤ٱَلْیَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلٰٓی اَفْواٰهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنآٰ اَیْدٖیهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ اَرْجُلُهُمْ بِماٰ كاٰنُوا یَكْسِبُونَ٦٥وَلَوْ نَشآٰءُ لَطَمَسْناٰ عَلٰٓی اَعْیُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّراٰطَ فَاَنّٰی یُبْصِرُونَ٦٦وَلَوْ نَشآٰءُ لَمَسَخْناٰهُمْ عَلٰی مَكاٰنَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطاٰعُوا مُضِیًّا وَلاٰ یَرْجِعُونَ٦٧وَمَنْ نُعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِی الْخَلْقِۖ اَفَلاٰ یَعْقِلُونَ٦٨وَماٰ عَلَّمْناٰهُ الشِّعْرَ وَماٰ یَنْبَغٖی لَهُۥٓۚ اِنْ هُوَ اِلّاٰ ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءاٰنٌ مُبٖینٌ٦٩لِیُنْذِرَ مَنْ كاٰنَ حَیًّا وَیَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَی الْكاٰفِرٖینَ٧٠اَوَلَمْ یَرَوْا اَنّاٰ خَلَقْناٰ لَهُمْ مِمّاٰ عَمِلَتْ اَیْدٖینآٰ اَنْعاٰمًا فَهُمْ لَهاٰ ماٰلِكُونَ٧١وَذَلَّلْناٰهاٰ لَهُمْ فَمِنْهاٰ رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهاٰ یَأْكُلُونَ٧٢وَلَهُمْ فٖیهاٰ مَناٰفِعُ وَمَشاٰرِبُۚ اَفَلاٰ یَشْكُرُونَ٧٣وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ ءاٰلِهَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ یُنْصَرُونَ٧٤لاٰ یَسْتَطٖیعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُنْدٌ مُحْضَرُونَ٧٥فَلاٰ یَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْۘ اِنّاٰ نَعْلَمُ ماٰ یُسِرُّونَ وَماٰ یُعْلِنُونَ٧٦اَوَلَمْ یَرَ الْاِنْساٰنُ اَنّاٰ خَلَقْناٰهُ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ فَاِذاٰ هُوَ خَصٖیمٌ مُبٖینٌ٧٧وَضَرَبَ لَناٰ مَثَلًا وَنَسِیَ خَلْقَهُۥۖ قاٰلَ مَنْ یُحْیِی الْعِظاٰمَ وَهِیَ رَمٖیمٌ٧٨قُلْ یُحْیٖیهَا الَّذٖیٓ اَنْشَاَهآٰ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلٖیمٌ٧٩ٱَلَّذٖی جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ الْاَخْضَرِ ناٰرًا فَاِذآٰ اَنْتُمْ مِنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ٨٠اَوَ لَیْسَ الَّذٖی خَلَقَ السَّمٰواٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ بِقاٰدِرٍ عَلٰٓی اَنْ یَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْۚ بَلٰی وَهُوَ الْخَلّاٰقُ الْعَلٖیمُ٨١اِنَّمآٰ اَمْرُهُۥٓ اِذآٰ اَراٰدَ شَیْئًا اَنْ یَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُنْ فَیَكُونُ٨٢فَسُبْحاٰنَ الَّذٖی بِیَدِهٖ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَاِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٨٣

Surah Ya-SinMakiha83In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.Ya Seen! 1By the Wise Quran, 2you are indeed one of the apostles, 3on a straight path. 4[It is a scripture] sent down gradually from the All-mighty, the All-merciful 5that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are oblivious. 6The word has certainly become due against most of them, so they will not have faith. 7Indeed We have put iron collars around their necks, which are up to the chins, so their heads are upturned. 8And We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, then We have blind-folded them, so they do not see. 9It is the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not have faith. 10You can only warn someone who follows the Reminder and fears the All-beneficent in secret; so give him the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11Indeed it is We who revive the dead and write what they have sent ahead and their effects [which they left behind], and We have figured everything in a manifest Imam. 12Cite for them the example of the inhabitants of the town when the apostles came to it. 13When We sent to them two [apostles], they impugned both of them. Then We reinforced them with a third, and they said, ‘We have indeed been sent to you.’ 14They said, ‘You are no other than human beings like us, and the All-beneficent has not sent down anything, and you are only lying.’ 15They said, ‘Our Lord knows that we have indeed been sent to you, 16and our duty is only to communicate in clear terms.’ 17They said, ‘Indeed we take you for a bad omen. If you do not desist we will stone you, and surely a painful punishment will visit you from us.’ 18They said, ‘Your bad omens attend you. What! If you are admonished.... Indeed, you are an unrestrained lot.’ 19There came a man hurrying from the city outskirts. He said, ‘O my people! Follow the apostles! 20Follow them who do not ask you any reward and they are rightly guided. 21Why should I not worship Him who has originated me, and to whom you shall be brought back? 22Shall I take gods besides Him? If the All-beneficent desired to cause me any distress, their intercession will not avail me in any way, nor will they rescue me. 23Indeed, then I would be in manifest error. 24Indeed I have faith in your Lord, so listen to me.’ 25He was told, ‘Enter paradise!’ He said, ‘Alas! Had my people only known 26for what my Lord forgave me and made me one of the honoured ones!’ 27  After him We did not send down on his people a host from the sky, nor We would have sent down. 28It was but a single Cry, and, behold, they were stilled [like burnt ashes]! 29How regrettable of the servants! There did not come to them any apostle but that they used to deride him. 30Have they not regarded how many generations We have destroyed before them who will not come back to them? 31And all of them will indeed be presented before Us. 32A sign for them is the dead earth, which We revive and bring forth grain out of it, so they eat of it. 33We make in it orchards of date palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth in it, 34so that they may eat of its fruit and what their hands have cultivated. Will they not then give thanks? 35Immaculate is He who has created all the kinds of what the earth grows, and of themselves, and of what they do not know. 36A sign for them is the night, which We strip of daylight, and, behold, they find themselves in the dark! 37The sun runs on to its place of rest: That is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 38As for the moon, We have ordained its phases, until it becomes like an old palm leaf. 39Neither it behooves the sun to overtake the moon, nor may the night outrun the day, and each swims in an orbit. 40A sign for them is that We carried their progeny in the laden ship, 41and We have created for them what is similar to it, which they ride. 42And if We like We drown them, whereat they have no one to call for help, nor are they rescued 43except by a mercy from Us and for an enjoyment until some time. 44And when they are told, ‘Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, so that you may receive [His] mercy…’ 45There does not come to them any sign from among the signs of their Lord but that they have been disregarding it. 46When they are told, ‘Spend out of what Allah has provided you,’ the faithless say to the faithful, ‘Shall we feed [someone] whom Allah would feed, if He wished? You are only in manifest error.’ 47And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, should you be truthful?’ 48They do not await but a single Cry that will seize them as they wrangle. 49Then they will not be able to make any will, nor will they return to their folks. 50And when the Trumpet is blown, behold, there they will be, scrambling towards their Lord from their graves! 51They will say, ‘Woe to us! Who raised us from our place of sleep?’ ‘This is what the All-beneficent had promised, and the apostles had spoken the truth!’ 52It will be but a single Cry, and, behold, they will all be presented before Us! 53‘Today no soul will be wronged in the least, nor will you be requited except for what you used to do.’ 54Indeed today the inhabitants of paradise rejoice in their engagements 55—they and their mates, reclining on couches in the shades. 56There they have fruits, and they have whatever they want. 57‘Peace!’—a watchword from the all-merciful Lord. 58And ‘Get apart today, you guilty ones!’ 59‘Did I not exhort you, O children of Adam, saying, “Do not worship Satan. He is indeed your manifest enemy. 60Worship Me. That is a straight path”? 61Certainly, he has led astray many of your generations. Have you not exercised your reason? 62This is the hell you had been promised! 63Enter it today, because of what you used to deny. 64Today We shall seal their mouths, and their hands shall speak to Us, and their feet shall bear witness concerning what they used to earn.’ 65Had We wished We would have blotted out their eyes: then, were they to advance towards the path, how would have they seen? 66And had We wished We would have deformed them in their place; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return. 67And whomever We give a long life, We cause him to regress in creation. Then, will they not exercise their reason? 68We did not teach him poetry, nor does it behoove him. This is just a reminder and a manifest Quran, 69so that anyone who is alive may be warned, and that the word may come due against the faithless. 70Have they not seen that We have created for them—of what Our hands have worked—cattle, so they have become their masters? 71And We made them tractable for them; so some of them make their mounts and some of them they eat. 72There are other benefits for them therein, and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73They have taken gods besides Allah, [hoping] that they might be helped [by the fake deities]. 74[But] they cannot help them, while they [themselves] are an army mobilized for their defence. 75So do not let their remarks grieve you. We indeed know whatever they hide and whatever they disclose. 76Does not man see that We created him from a drop of [seminal] fluid, and, behold, he is an open contender!? 77He draws comparisons for Us, and forgets his own creation. He says, ‘Who shall revive the bones when they have decayed?’ 78Say, ‘He will revive them who produced them the first time, and He has knowledge of all creation. 79He, who made for you fire out of the green tree, and, behold, you light fire from it! 80Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yes indeed! He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81All His command, when He wills something, is to say to it ‘Be,’ and it is. 82So immaculate is He in whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to whom you shall be brought back. 83
