51- Surah Adh-Dhariyat

سُورَةُ الذّاٰرِیاٰتِالمكية60بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖیمِوَالذّاٰرِیاٰتِ ذَرْوًا١فَالْحاٰمِلاٰتِ وِقْرًا٢فَالْجاٰرِیاٰتِ یُسْرًا٣فَالْمُقَسِّماٰتِ اَمْرًا٤اِنَّماٰ تُوعَدُونَ لَصاٰدِقٌ٥وَاِنَّ الدّٖینَ لَواٰقِعٌ٦وَالسَّمآٰءِ ذاٰتِ الْحُبُكِ٧اِنَّكُمْ لَفٖی قَوْلٍ مُخْتَلِفٍ٨یُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ اُفِكَ٩قُتِلَ الْخَرّاٰصُونَ١٠ٱَلَّذٖینَ هُمْ فٖی غَمْرَةٍ ساٰهُونَ١١یَسْئَلُونَ اَیّاٰنَ یَوْمُ الدّٖینِ١٢یَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَی النّاٰرِ یُفْتَنُونَ١٣ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هٰذَا الَّذٖی كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ١٤اِنَّ الْمُتَّقٖینَ فٖی جَنّاٰتٍ وَعُیُونٍ١٥ءاٰخِذٖینَ مآٰ ءاٰتٰىهُمْ رَبُّهُمْۚ اِنَّهُمْ كاٰنُوا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُحْسِنٖینَ١٦كاٰنُوا قَلٖیلًا مِنَ الَّیْلِ ماٰ یَهْجَعُونَ١٧وَبِالْاَسْحاٰرِ هُمْ یَسْتَغْفِرُونَ١٨وَفٖیٓ اَمْواٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِلسّآٰئِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ١٩وَفِی الْاَرْضِ ءاٰیاٰتٌ لِلْمُوقِنٖینَ٢٠وَفٖیٓ اَنْفُسِكُمْۚ اَفَلاٰ تُبْصِرُونَ٢١وَفِی السَّمآٰءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَماٰ تُوعَدُونَ٢٢فَوَرَبِّ السَّمآٰءِ وَالْاَرْضِ اِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِثْلَ مآٰ اَنَّكُمْ تَنْطِقُونَ٢٣هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدٖیثُ ضَیْفِ اِبْراٰهٖیمَ الْمُكْرَمٖینَ٢٤اِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَیْهِ فَقاٰلُوا سَلاٰمًاۖ قاٰلَ سَلاٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُنْكَرُونَ٢٥فَراٰغَ اِلٰٓی اَهْلِهٖ فَجآٰءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمٖینٍ٢٦فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ اِلَیْهِمْ قاٰلَ اَلاٰ تَأْكُلُونَ٢٧فَاَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خٖیفَةًۖ قاٰلُوا لاٰ تَخَفْۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلاٰمٍ عَلٖیمٍ٢٨فَاَقْبَلَتِ امْرَاَتُهُۥ فٖی صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهاٰ وَقاٰلَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقٖیمٌ٢٩قاٰلُوا كَذٰلِكِ قاٰلَ رَبُّكِۖ اِنَّهُۥ هُوَ الْحَكٖیمُ الْعَلٖیمُ٣٠ قاٰلَ فَماٰ خَطْبُكُمْ اَیُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ٣١قاٰلُوٓا اِنّآٰ اُرْسِلْنآٰ اِلٰی قَوْمٍ مُجْرِمٖینَ٣٢لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَیْهِمْ حِجاٰرَةً مِنْ طٖینٍ٣٣مُسَوَّمَةً عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفٖینَ٣٤فَاَخْرَجْناٰ مَنْ كاٰنَ فٖیهاٰ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنٖینَ٣٥فَماٰ وَجَدْناٰ فٖیهاٰ غَیْرَ بَیْتٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمٖینَ٣٦وَتَرَكْناٰ فٖیهآٰ ءاٰیَةً لِلَّذٖینَ یَخاٰفُونَ الْعَذاٰبَ الْاَلٖیمَ٣٧وَفٖی مُوسٰٓی اِذْ اَرْسَلْناٰهُ اِلٰی فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطاٰنٍ مُبٖینٍ٣٣فَتَوَلّٰی بِرُكْنِهٖ وَقاٰلَ ساٰحِرٌ اَوْ مَجْنُونٌ٣٩فَاَخَذْناٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْناٰهُمْ فِی الْیَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلٖیمٌ٤٠وَفٖی عاٰدٍ اِذْ اَرْسَلْناٰ عَلَیْهِمُ الرّٖیحَ الْعَقٖیمَ٤١ماٰ تَذَرُ مِنْ شَیْءٍ اَتَتْ عَلَیْهِ اِلّاٰ جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمٖیمِ٤٢وَفٖی ثَمُودَ اِذْ قٖیلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتّٰی حٖینٍ٤٣فَعَتَوْا عَنْ اَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصّاٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ یَنْظُرُونَ٤٤فَمَا اسْتَطاٰعُوا مِنْ قِیاٰمٍ وَماٰ كاٰنُوا مُنْتَصِرٖینَ٤٥وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُۖ اِنَّهُمْ كاٰنُوا قَوْمًا فاٰسِقٖینَ٤٦وَالسَّمآٰءَ بَنَیْناٰهاٰ بِاَیْیدٍ وَاِنّاٰ لَمُوسِعُونَ٤٧وَالْاَرْضَ فَرَشْناٰهاٰ فَنِعْمَ الْماٰهِدُونَ٤٨وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ خَلَقْناٰ زَوْجَیْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ٤٩فَفِرُّوٓا اِلَی اللّٰهِۖ اِنّٖی لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذٖیرٌ مُبٖینٌ٥٠وَلاٰ تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا ءاٰخَرَۖ اِنّٖی لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذٖیرٌ مُبٖینٌ٥١كَذٰلِكَ مآٰ اَتَی الَّذٖینَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ اِلّاٰ قاٰلُوا ساٰحِرٌ اَوْ مَجْنُونٌ٥٢اَتَواٰصَوْا بِهٖۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طاٰغُونَ٥٣فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمآٰ اَنْتَ بِمَلُومٍ٥٤وَذَكِّرْ فَاِنَّ الذِّكْرٰی تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنٖینَ٥٥وَماٰ خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْاِنْسَ اِلّاٰ لِیَعْبُدُونِ٥٦مآٰ اُرٖیدُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ رِزْقٍ وَمآٰ اُرٖیدُ اَنْ یُطْعِمُونِ٥٧اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الرَّزّاٰقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتٖینُ٥٨فَاِنَّ لِلَّذٖینَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِثْلَ ذَنُوبِ اَصْحاٰبِهِمْ فَلاٰ یَسْتَعْجِلُونِ٥٩فَوَیْلٌ لِلَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ یَوْمِهِمُ الَّذٖی یُوعَدُونَ٦٠

Surah Adh-DhariyatMakiha60In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.By the scattering [winds] that scatter [the clouds]; 1by the [rain] bearing [clouds] laden [with water]; 2by [the ships] which move gently [on the sea]; 3by [the angels] who dispense [livelihood] by [His] command: 4indeed what you are promised is true, 5and indeed the retribution will surely come to pass! 6By the sky full of adornment [with stars], 7indeed you are of different opinions! 8He who has been turned away [from the truth] is turned away from it. 9Perish the liars, 10who are heedless in a stupor! 11They ask, ‘When will be the Day of Retribution?’ 12It is the day when they will be tormented in the Fire, 13[and will be told]: ‘Taste your torment. This is what you used to hasten.’ 14Indeed the Godwary will be amid gardens and springs, 15receiving what their Lord has given them, for they had been virtuous aforetime. 16They used to sleep a little during the night, 17and at dawns they would plead for forgiveness, 18and there was a share in their wealth for the beggar and the deprived. 19In the earth are signs for those who have conviction, 20and in your souls [as well]. Will you not then perceive? 21And in the sky is your provision and what you are promised. 22By the Lord of the sky and the earth, it is indeed the truth, just as [it is a fact that] you speak. 23Did you receive the story of Abraham’s honoured guests? 24When they entered into his presence, they said, ‘Peace!’ ‘Peace!’ He answered, ‘[You are] an unfamiliar folk.’ 25Then he retired to his family and brought a fat [roasted] calf, 26and put it near them. He said, ‘Will you not eat?’ 27Then he felt a fear of them. They said, ‘Do not be afraid!’ and they gave him the good news of a wise son. 28Then his wife came forward crying [with joy]. She beat her face, and said, ‘A barren old woman!’ 29They said, ‘So has your Lord said. Indeed He is the All-wise, the All-knowing.’ 30  He said, ‘O messengers, what is now your errand?’ 31They said, ‘We have been sent toward a guilty people, 32that We may rain upon them stones of clay, 33sent for the transgressors from your Lord. 34So We picked out those who were in it of the faithful, 35but We did not find there other than one house of Muslims, 36and We have left therein a sign for those who fear a painful punishment.’ 37And in Moses [too there is a sign] when We sent him to Pharaoh with a manifest authority. 38But he turned away assured of his might, and said, ‘A magician or a crazy man!’ 39So We seized him and his hosts, and cast them into the sea, while he was blameworthy. 40And in ‘Ad when We unleashed upon them a barren wind. 41It left nothing that it came upon without making it like decayed bones. 42And in Thamud, when they were told, ‘Enjoy for a while.’ 43Then they defied the command of their Lord; so the thunderbolt seized them as they looked on. 44So they were neither able to rise up, nor to come to one another’s aid. 45And the people of Noah aforetime. Indeed, they were a transgressing lot. 46We have built the heaven with might, and indeed it is We who are its expanders. 47And We have spread out the earth, so how excellent spreaders We have been! 48In all things We have created pairs so that you may take admonition. 49‘So flee toward Allah. Indeed, I am from Him a manifest warner to you. 50Do not set up another god besides Allah. Indeed I am from Him a manifest warner to you.’ 51So it was that there did not come any apostle to those who were before them but they said, ‘A magician,’ or ‘A crazy man!’ 52Did they enjoin this upon one another?! Rather, they were a rebellious lot. 53So turn away from them, as you will not be blameworthy. 54And admonish, for admonition indeed benefits the faithful. 55I did not create the jinn and the humans except that they may worship Me. 56I desire no provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57Indeed it is Allah who is the All-provider, Powerful and All-strong. 58Indeed the lot of those who do wrong [now] will be like the lot of their [earlier] counterparts. So let them not ask Me to hasten on [that fate]. 59Woe to the faithless for the day they are promised! 60
