50- Surah Qaf

سُورَةُ قٓالمكية45بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖیمِقٓۚ وَالْقُرْءاٰنِ الْمَجٖیدِ١بَلْ عَجِبُوٓا اَنْ جآٰءَهُمْ مُنْذِرٌ مِنْهُمْ فَقاٰلَ الْكاٰفِرُونَ هٰذاٰ شَیْءٌ عَجٖیبٌ٢اَءِذاٰ مِتْناٰ وَكُنّاٰ تُراٰبًاۖ ذٰلِكَ رَجْعٌ بَعٖیدٌ٣قَدْ عَلِمْناٰ ماٰ تَنْقُصُ الْاَرْضُ مِنْهُمْۖ وَعِنْدَناٰ كِتاٰبٌ حَفٖیظٌ٤بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالْحَقِّ لَمّاٰ جآٰءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فٖیٓ اَمْرٍ مَرٖیجٍ٥اَفَلَمْ یَنْظُرُوٓا اِلَی السَّمآٰءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَیْفَ بَنَیْناٰهاٰ وَزَیَّنّاٰهاٰ وَماٰ لَهاٰ مِنْ فُرُوجٍ٦وَالْاَرْضَ مَدَدْناٰهاٰ وَاَلْقَیْناٰ فٖیهاٰ رَواٰسِیَ وَاَنْبَتْناٰ فٖیهاٰ مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهٖیجٍ٧تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرٰی لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُنٖیبٍ٨وَنَزَّلْناٰ مِنَ السَّمآٰءِ مآٰءً مُباٰرَكًا فَاَنْبَتْناٰ بِهٖ جَنّاٰتٍ وَحَبَّ الْحَصٖیدِ٩وَالنَّخْلَ باٰسِقاٰتٍ لَهاٰ طَلْعٌ نَضٖیدٌ١٠رِزْقًا لِلْعِباٰدِۖ وَاَحْیَیْناٰ بِهٖ بَلْدَةً مَیْتًاۚ كَذٰلِكَ الْخُرُوجُ١١كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَاَصْحاٰبُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ١٢وَعاٰدٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَاِخْواٰنُ لُوطٍ١٣وَاَصْحاٰبُ الْاَیْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعٖیدِ١٤اَفَعَیٖیناٰ بِالْخَلْقِ الْاَوَّلِۚ بَلْ هُمْ فٖی لَبْسٍ مِنْ خَلْقٍ جَدٖیدٍ١٥وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْساٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ ماٰ تُوَسْوِسُ بِهٖ نَفْسُهُۥۖ وَنَحْنُ اَقْرَبُ اِلَیْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرٖیدِ١٦اِذْ یَتَلَقَّی الْمُتَلَقِّیاٰنِ عَنِ الْیَمٖینِ وَعَنِ الشِّماٰلِ قَعٖیدٌ١٧ماٰ یَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ اِلّاٰ لَدَیْهِ رَقٖیبٌ عَتٖیدٌ١٨وَجآٰءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّۖ ذٰلِكَ ماٰ كُنْتَ مِنْهُ تَحٖیدُ١٩وَنُفِخَ فِی الصُّورِۚ ذٰلِكَ یَوْمُ الْوَعٖیدِ٢٠وَجآٰءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَعَهاٰ سآٰئِقٌ وَشَهٖیدٌ٢١لَقَدْ كُنْتَ فٖی غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ هٰذاٰ فَكَشَفْناٰ عَنْكَ غِطآٰءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْیَوْمَ حَدٖیدٌ٢٢وَقاٰلَ قَرٖینُهُۥ هٰذاٰ ماٰ لَدَیَّ عَتٖیدٌ٢٣اَلْقِیاٰ فٖی جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفّاٰرٍ عَنٖیدٍ٢٤مَنّاٰعٍ لِلْخَیْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُرٖیبٍ٢٥ٱَلَّذٖی جَعَلَ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا ءاٰخَرَ فَاَلْقِیاٰهُ فِی الْعَذاٰبِ الشَّدٖیدِ٢٦قاٰلَ قَرٖینُهُۥ رَبَّناٰ مآٰ اَطْغَیْتُهُۥ وَلٰكِنْ كاٰنَ فٖی ضَلاٰلٍ بَعٖیدٍ٢٧قاٰلَ لاٰ تَخْتَصِمُوا لَدَیَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ اِلَیْكُمْ بِالْوَعٖیدِ٢٨ماٰ یُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَیَّ وَمآٰ اَنَا بِظَلّاٰمٍ لِلْعَبٖیدِ٢٩یَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزٖیدٍ٣٠وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقٖینَ غَیْرَ بَعٖیدٍ٣١هٰذاٰ ماٰ تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ اَوّاٰبٍ حَفٖیظٍ٣٢مَنْ خَشِیَ الرَّحْمٰنَ بِالْغَیْبِ وَجآٰءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُنٖیبٍ٣٣ٱُدْخُلُوهاٰ بِسَلاٰمٍۖ ذٰلِكَ یَوْمُ الْخُلُودِ٣٤لَهُمْ ماٰ یَشآٰءُونَ فٖیهاٰ وَلَدَیْناٰ مَزٖیدٌ٣٥وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْناٰ قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ اَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِی الْبِلاٰدِ هَلْ مِنْ مَحٖیصٍ٣٦اِنَّ فٖی ذٰلِكَ لَذِكْرٰی لِمَنْ كاٰنَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ اَوْ اَلْقَی السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهٖیدٌ٣٧وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمٰواٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَماٰ بَیْنَهُماٰ فٖی سِتَّةِ اَیّاٰمٍ وَماٰ مَسَّناٰ مِنْ لُغُوبٍ٣٨فَاصْبِرْ عَلٰی ماٰ یَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ٣٩وَمِنَ الَّیْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَاَدْباٰرَ السُّجُودِ٤٠وَاسْتَمِعْ یَوْمَ یُناٰدِ الْمُناٰدِ مِنْ مَكاٰنٍ قَرٖیبٍ٤١یَوْمَ یَسْمَعُونَ الصَّیْحَةَ بِالْحَقِّۚ ذٰلِكَ یَوْمُ الْخُرُوجِ٤٢اِنّاٰ نَحْنُ نُحْیٖی وَنُمٖیتُ وَاِلَیْنَا الْمَصٖیرُ٤٣یَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْاَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِراٰعًاۚ ذٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَیْناٰ یَسٖیرٌ٤٤نَحْنُ اَعْلَمُ بِماٰ یَقُولُونَۖ وَمآٰ اَنْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ بِجَبّاٰرٍۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْءاٰنِ مَنْ یَخاٰفُ وَعٖیدِ٤٥

Surah QafMakiha45In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.Qaf. By the glorious Quran. 1Indeed they consider it odd that a warner from among themselves should have come to them. So the faithless say, ‘This is an odd thing.’ 2‘What! When we are dead and have become dust, [shall we be raised again]? That is a far-fetched return!’ 3We know what the earth diminishes from them, and with Us is a preserving Book. 4Indeed, they denied the truth when it came to them; so they are now in a perplexed state of affairs. 5Have they not, then, observed the heaven above them, how We have built it and adorned it, and that there are no cracks in it? 6And We spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and caused every delightful kind [of vegetation] to grow in it. 7[In this there is] an insight and admonition for every penitent servant. 8We send down from the sky salubrious water, with which We grow gardens and the grain which is harvested, 9and tall date palms with regularly set spathes, 10as a provision for Our servants, and with it We revive a dead country. Likewise will be the rising [from the dead]. 11The people of Noah denied before them, and [so did] the people of Rass and Thamud, 12and ‘Ad, Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13and the inhabitants of Aykah and the people of Tubbac. Each [of them] impugned the apostles, and so My threat became due [against them]. 14Have We been exhausted by the first creation? No, they are in doubt about a new creation. 15Certainly We have created man and We know to what his soul tempts him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16When the twin recorders record [his deeds], seated on the right hand and on the left: 17he says no word but that there is a ready observer beside him. 18The throes of death bring the truth: ‘This is what you used to shun!’ 19And the Trumpet will be blown: ‘This is the promised day.’ 20Every soul will come accompanied by [two angels], a driver, and a witness: 21[he will be told] ‘You were certainly oblivious of this. We have removed your veil from you, and so today your eyesight is acute.’ 22Then his companion [angel] will say, ‘This is what is ready with me [of his record of deeds].’ 23[The two angels accompany him will be told,] ‘Cast every obdurate ingrate into hell, 24[every] hinderer of good, transgressor, and skeptic, 25who had set up another god along with Allah and cast him into the severe punishment.’ 26His companion [devil] will say, ‘Our Lord! I did not incite him to rebel [against You], but he was [himself] in extreme error.’ 27He will say, ‘Do not wrangle in My presence, for I had already warned you in advance. 28The word [of judgement] is unalterable with Me, and I am not tyrannical to My servants.’ 29The day when We shall say to hell, ‘Are you full?’ It will say, ‘Is there any more?’ 30And paradise will be brought near for the Godwary, it will not be distant [any more]: 31‘This is what you were promised. [It is] for every penitent and dutiful [servant] 32who fears the All-beneficent in secret and comes with a penitent heart. 33Enter it in peace! This is the day of immortality.’ 34There they will have whatever they wish, and with Us there is yet more. 35How many generations We have destroyed before them, who were stronger than these, insomuch that they ransacked the towns?! So, is there any escape [from Allah’s punishment]? 36There is indeed an admonition in that for one who has a heart, or gives ear, being attentive. 37Certainly We created the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, in six days, and any fatigue did not touch Us. 38So be patient at what they say, and celebrate the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the sunset, 39and glorify Him through part of the night and after the prostrations. 40And be on the alert for the day when the caller calls from a close quarter, 41the day when they hear the Cry in all truth. That is the day of rising [from the dead]. 42Indeed it is We who give life and bring death, and toward Us is the [final] destination. 43The day the earth is split open for [disentombing] them, [they will come out] hastening. That mustering is easy for Us [to carry out]. 44We know well what they say, and you are not there to compel them. So admonish by the Quran those who fear My threat. 45
