فَماٰ لَكُمْ فِی الْمُناٰفِقٖینَ فِئَتَیْنِ وَاللّٰهُ اَرْكَسَهُمْ بِماٰ كَسَبُوٓاۚ اَتُرٖیدُونَ اَنْ تَهْدُوا مَنْ اَضَلَّ اللّٰهُۖ وَمَنْ یُضْلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُۥ سَبٖیلًا۝٨٨۝وَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَماٰ كَفَرُوا فَتَكُونُونَ سَوآٰءًۖ فَلاٰ تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ اَوْلِیآٰءَ حَتّٰی یُهاٰجِرُوا فٖی سَبٖیلِ اللّٰهِۚ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَیْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْۖ وَلاٰ تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ وَلِیًّا وَلاٰ نَصٖیرًا۝٨٩۝اِلَّا الَّذٖینَ یَصِلُونَ اِلٰی قَوْمٍ بَیْنَكُمْ وَبَیْنَهُمْ مٖیثاٰقٌ اَوْ جآٰءُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ اَنْ یُقاٰتِلُوكُمْ اَوْ یُقاٰتِلُوا قَوْمَهُمْۚ وَلَوْ شآٰءَ اللّٰهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَیْكُمْ فَلَقاٰتَلُوكُمْۚ فَاِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ یُقاٰتِلُوكُمْ وَاَلْقَوْا اِلَیْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَماٰ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ عَلَیْهِمْ سَبٖیلًا۝٩٠۝سَتَجِدُونَ ءاٰخَرٖینَ یُرٖیدُونَ اَنْ یَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَیَأْمَنُوا قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّماٰ رُدُّوٓا اِلَی الْفِتْنَةِ اُرْكِسُوا فٖیهاٰۚ فَاِنْ لَمْ یَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَیُلْقُوٓا اِلَیْكُمُ السَّلَمَ وَیَكُفُّوٓا اَیْدِیَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَیْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْۚ وَاُولٰٓئِكُمْ جَعَلْناٰ لَكُمْ عَلَیْهِمْ سُلْطاٰنًا مُبٖینًا۝٩١۝وَماٰ كاٰنَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ اَنْ یَقْتُلَ مُؤْمِنًا اِلّاٰ خَطَـئًاۚ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَـئًا فَتَحْرٖیرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍ وَدِیَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ اِلٰٓی اَهْلِهٖٓ اِلّآٰ اَنْ یَصَّدَّقُواۚ فَاِنْ كاٰنَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَدُوٍّ لَكُمْ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَتَحْرٖیرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍۖ وَاِنْ كاٰنَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَیْنَكُمْ وَبَیْنَهُمْ مٖیثاٰقٌ فَدِیَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ اِلٰٓی اَهْلِهٖ وَتَحْرٖیرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍۖ فَمَنْ لَمْ یَجِدْ فَصِیاٰمُ شَهْرَیْنِ مُتَتاٰبِعَیْنِ تَوْبَةً مِنَ اللّٰهِۗ وَكاٰنَ اللّٰهُ عَلٖیمًا حَكٖیمًا۝٩٢۝وَمَنْ یَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزآٰؤُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ خاٰلِدًا فٖیهاٰ وَغَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَیْهِ وَلَعَنَهُۥ وَاَعَدَّ لَهُۥ عَذاٰبًا عَظٖیمًا۝٩٣۝یآٰ اَیُّهَا الَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوٓا اِذاٰ ضَرَبْتُمْ فٖی سَبٖیلِ اللّٰهِ فَتَبَیَّنُوا وَلاٰ تَقُولُوا لِمَنْ اَلْقٰٓی اِلَیْكُمُ السَّلاٰمَ لَسْتَ مُؤْمِنًا تَبْتَغُونَ عَرَضَ الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیاٰ فَعِنْدَ اللّٰهِ مَغاٰنِمُ كَثٖیرَةٌۚ كَذٰلِكَ كُنْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَمَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَیْكُمْ فَتَبَیَّنُوٓاۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كاٰنَ بِماٰ تَعْمَلُونَ خَبٖیرًا۝٩٤۝لاٰ یَسْتَوِی الْقاٰعِدُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنٖینَ غَیْرُ اُولِی الضَّرَرِ وَالْمُجاٰهِدُونَ فٖی سَبٖیلِ اللّٰهِ بِاَمْواٰلِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْۚ فَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ الْمُجاٰهِدٖینَ بِاَمْواٰلِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْ عَلَی الْقاٰعِدٖینَ دَرَجَةًۚ وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ اللّٰهُ الْحُسْنٰیۚ وَفَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ الْمُجاٰهِدٖینَ عَلَی الْقاٰعِدٖینَ اَجْرًا عَظٖیمًا۝٩٥۝دَرَجاٰتٍ مِنْهُ وَمَغْفِرَةً وَرَحْمَةًۚ وَكاٰنَ اللّٰهُ غَفُورًا رَحٖیمًا۝٩٦۝اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ تَوَفّٰىهُمُ الْمَلآٰئِكَةُ ظاٰلِمٖیٓ اَنْفُسِهِمْ قاٰلُوا فٖیمَ كُنْتُمْۖ قاٰلُوا كُنّاٰ مُسْتَضْعَفٖینَ فِی الْاَرْضِۚ قاٰلُوٓا اَلَمْ تَكُنْ اَرْضُ اللّٰهِ واٰسِعَةً فَتُهاٰجِرُوا فٖیهاٰۚ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ مَأْوٰىهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَسآٰءَتْ مَصٖیرًا۝٩٧۝اِلَّا الْمُسْتَضْعَفٖینَ مِنَ الرِّجاٰلِ وَالنِّسآٰءِ وَالْوِلْداٰنِ لاٰ یَسْتَطٖیعُونَ حٖیلَةً وَلاٰ یَهْتَدُونَ سَبٖیلًا۝٩٨۝فَاُولٰٓئِكَ عَسَی اللّٰهُ اَنْ یَعْفُوَ عَنْهُمْۚ وَكاٰنَ اللّٰهُ عَفُوًّا غَفُورًا۝٩٩۝وَمَنْ یُهاٰجِرْ فٖی سَبٖیلِ اللّٰهِ یَجِدْ فِی الْاَرْضِ مُراٰغَمًا كَثٖیرًا وَسَعَةًۚ وَمَنْ یَخْرُجْ مِنْ بَیْتِهٖ مُهاٰجِرًا اِلَی اللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِهٖ ثُمَّ یُدْرِكْهُ الْمَوْتُ فَقَدْ وَقَعَ اَجْرُهُۥ عَلَی اللّٰهِۗ وَكاٰنَ اللّٰهُ غَفُورًا رَحٖیمًا۝١٠٠۝وَاِذاٰ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِی الْاَرْضِ فَلَیْسَ عَلَیْكُمْ جُناٰحٌ اَنْ تَقْصُرُوا مِنَ الصَّلٰوةِ اِنْ خِفْتُمْ اَنْ یَفْتِنَكُمُ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوٓاۚ اِنَّ الْكاٰفِرٖینَ كاٰنُوا لَكُمْ عَدُوًّا مُبٖینًا۝١٠١۝وَاِذاٰ كُنْتَ فٖیهِمْ فَاَقَمْتَ لَهُمُ الصَّلٰوةَ فَلْتَقُمْ طآٰئِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ مَعَكَ وَلْیَأْخُذُوٓا اَسْلِحَتَهُمْۖ فَاِذاٰ سَجَدُوا فَلْیَكُونُوا مِنْ وَرآٰئِكُمْ وَلْتَأْتِ طآٰئِفَةٌ اُخْرٰی لَمْ یُصَلُّوا فَلْیُصَلُّوا مَعَكَ وَلْیَأْخُذُوا حِذْرَهُمْ وَاَسْلِحَتَهُمْۗ وَدَّ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ تَغْفُلُونَ عَنْ اَسْلِحَتِكُمْ وَاَمْتِعَتِكُمْ فَیَمٖیلُونَ عَلَیْكُمْ مَیْلَةً واٰحِدَةًۚ وَلاٰ جُناٰحَ عَلَیْكُمْ اِنْ كاٰنَ بِكُمْ اَذًی مِنْ مَطَرٍ اَوْ كُنْتُمْ مَرْضٰٓی اَنْ تَضَعُوٓا اَسْلِحَتَكُمْۖ وَخُذُوا حِذْرَكُمْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اَعَدَّ لِلْكاٰفِرٖینَ عَذاٰبًا مُهٖینًا۝١٠٢۝فَاِذاٰ قَضَیْتُمُ الصَّلٰوةَ فَاذْكُرُوا اللّٰهَ قِیاٰمًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلٰی جُنُوبِكُمْۚ فَاِذَا اطْمَأْنَنْتُمْ فَاَقٖیمُوا الصَّلٰوةَۚ اِنَّ الصَّلٰوةَ كاٰنَتْ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنٖینَ كِتاٰبًا مَوْقُوتًا۝١٠٣۝وَلاٰ تَهِنُوا فِی ابْتِغآٰءِ الْقَوْمِۖ اِنْ تَكُونُوا تَأْلَمُونَ فَاِنَّهُمْ یَأْلَمُونَ كَماٰ تَأْلَمُونَۖ وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ ماٰ لاٰ یَرْجُونَۗ وَكاٰنَ اللّٰهُ عَلٖیمًا حَكٖیمًا۝١٠٤۝اِنّآٰ اَنْزَلْنآٰ اِلَیْكَ الْكِتاٰبَ بِالْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَیْنَ النّاٰسِ بِمآٰ اَرٰىكَ اللّٰهُۚ وَلاٰ تَكُنْ لِلْخآٰئِنٖینَ خَصٖیمًا۝١٠٥۝وَاسْتَغْفِرِ اللّٰهَۖ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كاٰنَ غَفُورًا رَحٖیمًا۝١٠٦۝وَلاٰ تُجاٰدِلْ عَنِ الَّذٖینَ یَخْتاٰنُونَ اَنْفُسَهُمْۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لاٰ یُحِبُّ مَنْ كاٰنَ خَوّاٰنًا اَثٖیمًا۝١٠٧۝یَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ النّاٰسِ وَلاٰ یَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ اِذْ یُبَیِّتُونَ ماٰ لاٰ یَرْضٰی مِنَ الْقَوْلِۚ وَكاٰنَ اللّٰهُ بِماٰ یَعْمَلُونَ مُحٖیطًا۝١٠٨۝هآٰاَنْتُمْ هٰٓؤُلآٰءِ جاٰدَلْتُمْ عَنْهُمْ فِی الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیاٰ فَمَنْ یُجاٰدِلُ اللّٰهَ عَنْهُمْ یَوْمَ الْقِیاٰمَةِ اَمْ مَنْ یَكُونُ عَلَیْهِمْ وَكٖیلًا۝١٠٩۝وَمَنْ یَعْمَلْ سُوٓءًا اَوْ یَظْلِمْ نَفْسَهُۥ ثُمَّ یَسْتَغْفِرِ اللّٰهَ یَجِدِ اللّٰهَ غَفُورًا رَحٖیمًا۝١١٠۝وَمَنْ یَكْسِبْ اِثْمًا فَاِنَّماٰ یَكْسِبُهُۥ عَلٰی نَفْسِهٖۚ وَكاٰنَ اللّٰهُ عَلٖیمًا حَكٖیمًا۝١١١۝وَمَنْ یَكْسِبْ خَطٖیٓئَةً اَوْ اِثْمًا ثُمَّ یَرْمِ بِهٖ بَرٖیٓئًا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلَ بُهْتاٰنًا وَاِثْمًا مُبٖینًا۝١١٢۝وَلَوْلاٰ فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّتْ طآٰئِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ اَنْ یُضِلُّوكَ وَماٰ یُضِلُّونَ اِلّآٰ اَنْفُسَهُمْۖ وَماٰ یَضُرُّونَكَ مِنْ شَیْءٍۚ وَاَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ عَلَیْكَ الْكِتاٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ ماٰ لَمْ تَكُنْ تَعْلَمُۚ وَكاٰنَ فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْكَ عَظٖیمًا۝١١٣۝

 Why should you be two groups concerning the hypocrites, while Allah has made them relapse [into unfaith] because of their deeds? Do you desire to guide someone Allah has led astray? Whomever Allah leads astray, you will never find any way for him. ﴾88﴿They are eager that you should disbelieve like they have disbelieved, so that you all become alike. So do not make friends [with anyone] from among them, until they migrate in the way of Allah. But if they turn their backs, seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and do not take from among them friends or helpers, ﴾89﴿excepting those who join a people between whom and you there is a treaty, or such as come to you with hearts reluctant to fight you, or to fight their own people. Had Allah wished, He would have imposed them upon you, and then they would have surely fought you. So if they keep out of your way and do not fight you, and offer you peace, then Allah does not allow you any course [of action] against them. ﴾90﴿You will find others desiring to be secure from you, and secure from their own people; yet whenever they are called back to polytheism, they relapse into it. So if they do not keep out of your way, nor offer you peace, nor keep their hands off [from fighting], then seize them and kill them wherever you confront them, and it is such against whom We have given you a clear sanction. ﴾91﴿A believer may not kill another believer, unless it is by mistake. Anyone who kills a believer by mistake should set free a believing slave, and pay blood-money to his family, unless they remit it in charity. If he belongs to a people that are hostile to you but is a believer, then a believing slave is to be set free. And if he belongs to a people with whom you have a treaty, the blood-money is to be paid to his family and a believing slave is to be set free. He who cannot afford [to pay the blood-money], must fast two successive months as a penance from Allah, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. ﴾92﴿Should anyone kill a believer intentionally, his requital shall be hell, to remain in it [forever]; Allah shall be wrathful at him and curse him and He shall prepare for him a great punishment. ﴾93﴿O you who have faith! When you issue forth in the way of Allah, try to ascertain: do not say to someone who offers you peace, ‘You are not a believer,’ seeking the transitory wares of the life of this world. Yet with Allah are plenteous gains. You too were such earlier, but Allah did you a favour. Therefore, do ascertain. Allah is indeed well aware of what you do. ﴾94﴿Not equal are those of the faithful who sit back—excepting those who suffer from some disability—and those who wage jihad in the way of Allah with their possession and their persons. Allah has graced those who wage jihad with their possessions and their persons by a degree over those who sit back; yet to each Allah has promised the best reward, and Allah has graced those who wage jihad over those who sit back with a great reward: ﴾95﴿ranks from Him, forgiveness, and mercy, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. ﴾96﴿Indeed, those whom the angels take away while they are wronging themselves, they ask, ‘What state were you in?’ They reply, ‘We were oppressed in the land.’ They say, ‘Was not Allah’s earth vast enough so that you might migrate in it?’ The refuge of such shall be hell, and it is an evil destination. ﴾97﴿Except the oppressed among men, women and children, who have neither access to any means nor are guided to any way. ﴾98﴿Maybe Allah will excuse them, for Allah is all-excusing, all-forgiving. ﴾99﴿Whoever migrates in the way of Allah will find many havens and plenitude in the earth. And whoever leaves his home migrating toward Allah and His Apostle, and is then overtaken by death, his reward shall certainly fall on Allah, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. ﴾100﴿When you journey in the land, there is no sin upon you in shortening the prayers, if you fear that the faithless may trouble you; indeed the faithless are your manifest enemies. ﴾101﴿When you are among them, leading them in prayers, let a group of them stand with you, carrying their weapons. And when they have done the prostrations, let them withdraw to the rear, then let the other group which has not prayed come and pray with you, taking their precautions and [bearing] their weapons. The faithless are eager that you should be oblivious of your weapons and your baggage, so that they could assault you all at once. But there is no sin upon you, if you are troubled by rain or are sick, to set aside your weapons; but take your precautions. Indeed Allah has prepared for the faithless a humiliating punishment. ﴾102﴿When you have finished the prayers, remember Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down, and when you feel secure, perform the [complete] prayers, for the prayer is indeed a timed prescription for the faithful. ﴾103﴿Do not slacken in the pursuit of these people. If you are suffering, they are also suffering like you, but you expect from Allah what they do not expect, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. ﴾104﴿Indeed We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, so that you may judge between the people by what Allah has shown you; do not be an advocate for the traitors, ﴾105﴿and plead to Allah for forgiveness; indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful. ﴾106﴿And do not plead for those who betray themselves; indeed Allah does not like someone who is treacherous and sinful. ﴾107﴿They try to hide [their real character] from people, but they do not try to hide from Allah, though He is with them when they conspire overnight with a discourse that He does not approve of. And Allah comprehends whatever they do. ﴾108﴿Aha! There you are, pleading for them in the life of this world! But who will plead for them with Allah on the Day of Resurrection, or will be their defender? ﴾109﴿Whoever commits evil or wrongs himself and then pleads to Allah for forgiveness, will find Allah all-forgiving, all-merciful. ﴾110﴿Whoever commits a sin, commits it only against himself; and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. ﴾111﴿But someone who commits an iniquity or sin and then accuses an innocent person of it, is indeed guilty of calumny and a flagrant sin. ﴾112﴿Were it not for Allah’s grace and His mercy on you, a group of them were bent on leading you astray; but they do not mislead anyone except themselves, and they cannot do you any harm. Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom, and He has taught you what you did not know, and great is Allah’s grace upon you. ﴾113﴿
