 فَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ كَذَبَ عَلَی اللّٰهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِالصِّدْقِ اِذْ جآٰءَهُۥٓۚ اَلَیْسَ فٖی جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًی لِلْكاٰفِرٖینَ٣٢وَالَّذٖی جآٰءَ بِالصِّدْقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهٖٓ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ٣٣لَهُمْ ماٰ یَشآٰءُونَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْۚ ذٰلِكَ جَزآٰءُ الْمُحْسِنٖینَ٣٤لِیُكَفِّرَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ اَسْوَاَ الَّذٖی عَمِلُوا وَیَجْزِیَهُمْ اَجْرَهُمْ بِاَحْسَنِ الَّذٖی كاٰنُوا یَعْمَلُونَ٣٥اَلَیْسَ اللّٰهُ بِكاٰفٍ عَبْدَهُۥۖ وَیُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِالَّذٖینَ مِنْ دُونِهٖۚ وَمَنْ یُضْلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَماٰ لَهُۥ مِنْ هاٰدٍ٣٦وَمَنْ یَهْدِ اللّٰهُ فَماٰ لَهُۥ مِنْ مُضِلٍّۗ اَلَیْسَ اللّٰهُ بِعَزٖیزٍ ذِی انْتِقاٰمٍ٣٧وَلَئِنْ سَاَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰواٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ لَیَقُولُنَّ اللّٰهُۚ قُلْ اَفَرَاَیْتُمْ ماٰ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ اَراٰدَنِیَ اللّٰهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كاٰشِفاٰتُ ضُرِّهٖٓ اَوْ اَراٰدَنٖی بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكاٰتُ رَحْمَتِهٖۚ قُلْ حَسْبِیَ اللّٰهُۖ عَلَیْهِ یَتَوَكَّلُ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ٣٨قُلْ یاٰ قَوْمِ اعْمَلُوا عَلٰی مَكاٰنَتِكُمْ اِنّٖی عاٰمِلٌۖ فَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ٣٩مَنْ یَأْتٖیهِ عَذاٰبٌ یُخْزٖیهِ وَیَحِلُّ عَلَیْهِ عَذاٰبٌ مُقٖیمٌ٤٠اِنّآٰ اَنْزَلْناٰ عَلَیْكَ الْكِتاٰبَ لِلنّاٰسِ بِالْحَقِّۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدٰی فَلِنَفْسِهٖۖ وَمَنْ ضَلَّ فَاِنَّماٰ یَضِلُّ عَلَیْهاٰۖ وَمآٰ اَنْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ بِوَكٖیلٍ٤١ٱَللّٰهُ یَتَوَفَّی الْاَنْفُسَ حٖینَ مَوْتِهاٰ وَالَّتٖی لَمْ تَمُتْ فٖی مَناٰمِهاٰۖ فَیُمْسِكُ الَّتٖی قَضٰی عَلَیْهَا الْمَوْتَ وَیُرْسِلُ الْاُخْرٰٓی اِلٰٓی اَجَلٍ مُسَمًّیۚ اِنَّ فٖی ذٰلِكَ لَءاٰیاٰتٍ لِقَوْمٍ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ٤٢اَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ شُفَعآٰءَۚ قُلْ اَوَلَوْ كاٰنُوا لاٰ یَمْلِكُونَ شَیْئًا وَلاٰ یَعْقِلُونَ٤٣قُلْ لِلّٰهِ الشَّفاٰعَةُ جَمٖیعًاۖ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ السَّمٰواٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۖ ثُمَّ اِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٤٤وَاِذاٰ ذُكِرَ اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ اشْمَاَزَّتْ قُلُوبُ الَّذٖینَ لاٰ یُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْءاٰخِرَةِۖ وَاِذاٰ ذُكِرَ الَّذٖینَ مِنْ دُونِهٖٓ اِذاٰ هُمْ یَسْتَبْشِرُونَ٤٥قُلِ اللّٰهُمَّ فاٰطِرَ السَّمٰواٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ عاٰلِمَ الْغَیْبِ وَالشَّهاٰدَةِ اَنْتَ تَحْكُمُ بَیْنَ عِباٰدِكَ فٖی ماٰ كاٰنُوا فٖیهِ یَخْتَلِفُونَ٤٦وَلَوْ اَنَّ لِلَّذٖینَ ظَلَمُوا ماٰ فِی الْاَرْضِ جَمٖیعًا وَمِثْلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهٖ مِنْ سُوٓءِ الْعَذاٰبِ یَوْمَ الْقِیاٰمَةِۚ وَبَداٰ لَهُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ ماٰ لَمْ یَكُونُوا یَحْتَسِبُونَ٤٧وَبَداٰ لَهُمْ سَیِّئاٰتُ ماٰ كَسَبُوا وَحاٰقَ بِهِمْ ماٰ كاٰنُوا بِهٖ یَسْتَهْزِءُونَ٤٨فَاِذاٰ مَسَّ الْاِنْساٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعاٰناٰ ثُمَّ اِذاٰ خَوَّلْناٰهُ نِعْمَةً مِنّاٰ قاٰلَ اِنَّمآٰ اُوتٖیتُهُۥ عَلٰی عِلْمٍۚ بَلْ هِیَ فِتْنَةٌ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لاٰ یَعْلَمُونَ٤٩قَدْ قاٰلَهَا الَّذٖینَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَمآٰ اَغْنٰی عَنْهُمْ ماٰ كاٰنُوا یَكْسِبُونَ٥٠فَاَصاٰبَهُمْ سَیِّئاٰتُ ماٰ كَسَبُواۚ وَالَّذٖینَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ هٰٓؤُلآٰءِ سَیُصٖیبُهُمْ سَیِّئاٰتُ ماٰ كَسَبُوا وَماٰ هُمْ بِمُعْجِزٖینَ٥١اَوَلَمْ یَعْلَمُوٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ یَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ یَشآٰءُ وَیَقْدِرُۚ اِنَّ فٖی ذٰلِكَ لَءاٰیاٰتٍ لِقَوْمٍ یُؤْمِنُونَ٥٢قُلْ یاٰ عِباٰدِیَ الَّذٖینَ اَسْرَفُوا عَلٰٓی اَنْفُسِهِمْ لاٰ تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللّٰهِۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ یَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمٖیعًاۚ اِنَّهُۥ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحٖیمُ٥٣وَاَنٖیبُوٓا اِلٰی رَبِّكُمْ وَاَسْلِمُوا لَهُۥ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ یَأْتِیَكُمُ الْعَذاٰبُ ثُمَّ لاٰ تُنْصَرُونَ٥٤وَاتَّبِعُوٓا اَحْسَنَ مآٰ اُنْزِلَ اِلَیْكُمْ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ یَأْتِیَكُمُ الْعَذاٰبُ بَغْتَةً وَاَنْتُمْ لاٰ تَشْعُرُونَ٥٥اَنْ تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ یاٰ حَسْرَتٰی عَلٰی ماٰ فَرَّطْتُ فٖی جَنْبِ اللّٰهِ وَاِنْ كُنْتُ لَمِنَ السّاٰخِرٖینَ٥٦اَوْ تَقُولَ لَوْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ هَدٰىنٖی لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقٖینَ٥٧اَوْ تَقُولَ حٖینَ تَرَی الْعَذاٰبَ لَوْ اَنَّ لٖی كَرَّةً فَاَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنٖینَ٥٨بَلٰی قَدْ جآٰءَتْكَ ءاٰیاٰتٖی فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهاٰ وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنْتَ مِنَ الْكاٰفِرٖینَ٥٩وَیَوْمَ الْقِیاٰمَةِ تَرَی الَّذٖینَ كَذَبُوا عَلَی اللّٰهِ وُجُوهُهُمْ مُسْوَدَّةٌۚ اَلَیْسَ فٖی جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًی لِلْمُتَكَبِّرٖینَ٦٠وَیُنَجِّی اللّٰهُ الَّذٖینَ اتَّقَوْا بِمَفاٰزَتِهِمْ لاٰ یَمَسُّهُمُ السُّوٓءُ وَلاٰ هُمْ یَحْزَنُونَ٦١ٱَللّٰهُ خاٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَیْءٍۖ وَهُوَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَكٖیلٌ٦٢لَهُۥ مَقاٰلٖیدُ السَّمٰواٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَالَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا بِأٰیاٰتِ اللّٰهِ اُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْخاٰسِرُونَ٦٣قُلْ اَفَغَیْرَ اللّٰهِ تَأْمُرُوٓنّٖیٓ اَعْبُدُ اَیُّهَا الْجاٰهِلُونَ٦٤وَلَقَدْ اُوحِیَ اِلَیْكَ وَاِلَی الَّذٖینَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَئِنْ اَشْرَكْتَ لَیَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخاٰسِرٖینَ٦٥بَلِ اللّٰهَ فَاعْبُدْ وَكُنْ مِنَ الشّاٰكِرٖینَ٦٦وَماٰ قَدَرُوا اللّٰهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهٖ وَالْاَرْضُ جَمٖیعًا قَبْضَتُهُۥ یَوْمَ الْقِیاٰمَةِ وَالسَّمٰواٰتُ مَطْوِیّاٰتٌ بِیَمٖینِهٖۚ سُبْحاٰنَهُۥ وَتَعاٰلٰی عَمّاٰ یُشْرِكُونَ٦٧وَنُفِخَ فِی الصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَنْ فِی السَّمٰواٰتِ وَمَنْ فِی الْاَرْضِ اِلّاٰ مَنْ شآٰءَ اللّٰهُۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فٖیهِ اُخْرٰی فَاِذاٰ هُمْ قِیاٰمٌ یَنْظُرُونَ٦٨وَاَشْرَقَتِ الْاَرْضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهاٰ وَوُضِعَ الْكِتاٰبُ وَجٖیٓءَ بِالنَّبِیّٖینَ وَالشُّهَدآٰءِ وَقُضِیَ بَیْنَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لاٰ یُظْلَمُونَ٦٩وَوُفِّیَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ماٰ عَمِلَتْ وَهُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِماٰ یَفْعَلُونَ٧٠وَسٖیقَ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوٓا اِلٰی جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًاۖ حَتّٰٓی اِذاٰ جآٰءُوهاٰ فُتِحَتْ اَبْواٰبُهاٰ وَقاٰلَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهآٰ اَلَمْ یَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِنْكُمْ یَتْلُونَ عَلَیْكُمْ ءاٰیاٰتِ رَبِّكُمْ وَیُنْذِرُونَكُمْ لِقآٰءَ یَوْمِكُمْ هٰذاٰۚ قاٰلُوا بَلٰی وَلٰكِنْ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذاٰبِ عَلَی الْكاٰفِرٖینَ٧١قٖیلَ ادْخُلُوٓا اَبْواٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خاٰلِدٖینَ فٖیهاٰۖ فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَی الْمُتَكَبِّرٖینَ٧٢وَسٖیقَ الَّذٖینَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ اِلَی الْجَنَّةِ زُمَرًاۖ حَتّٰٓی اِذاٰ جآٰءُوهاٰ وَفُتِحَتْ اَبْواٰبُهاٰ وَقاٰلَ لَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهاٰ سَلاٰمٌ عَلَیْكُمْ طِبْتُمْ فَادْخُلُوهاٰ خاٰلِدٖینَ٧٣وَقاٰلُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذٖی صَدَقَناٰ وَعْدَهُۥ وَاَوْرَثَنَا الْاَرْضَ نَتَبَوَّاُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ حَیْثُ نَشآٰءُۖ فَنِعْمَ اَجْرُ الْعاٰمِلٖینَ٧٤وَتَرَی الْمَلآٰئِكَةَ حآٰفّٖینَ مِنْ حَوْلِ الْعَرْشِ یُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْۖ وَقُضِیَ بَیْنَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَقٖیلَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعاٰلَمٖینَ٧٥سُورَةُ غاٰفِرٍالمكية85بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖیمِحمٓ١تَنْزٖیلُ الْكِتاٰبِ مِنَ اللّٰهِ الْعَزٖیزِ الْعَلٖیمِ٢غاٰفِرِ الذَّنْبِ وَقاٰبِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدٖیدِ الْعِقاٰبِ ذِی الطَّوْلِۖ لآٰ اِلٰهَ اِلّاٰ هُوَۖ اِلَیْهِ الْمَصٖیرُ٣ماٰ یُجاٰدِلُ فٖیٓ ءاٰیاٰتِ اللّٰهِ اِلَّا الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا فَلاٰ یَغْرُرْكَ تَقَلُّبُهُمْ فِی الْبِلاٰدِ٤كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَالْاَحْزاٰبُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْۖ وَهَمَّتْ كُلُّ اُمَّةٍ بِرَسُولِهِمْ لِیَأْخُذُوهُۖ وَجاٰدَلُوا بِالْباٰطِلِ لِیُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ فَاَخَذْتُهُمْۖ فَكَیْفَ كاٰنَ عِقاٰبِ٥وَكَذٰلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَی الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوٓا اَنَّهُمْ اَصْحاٰبُ النّاٰرِ٦ٱَلَّذٖینَ یَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُۥ یُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَیُؤْمِنُونَ بِهٖ وَیَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُواۖ رَبَّناٰ وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَیْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذٖینَ تاٰبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبٖیلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذاٰبَ الْجَحٖیمِ٧رَبَّناٰ وَاَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنّاٰتِ عَدْنِࣙ الَّتٖی وَعَدْتَهُمْ وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ ءاٰبآٰئِهِمْ وَاَزْواٰجِهِمْ وَذُرِّیّاٰتِهِمْۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزٖیزُ الْحَكٖیمُ٨وَقِهِمُ السَّیِّئاٰتِۚ وَمَنْ تَقِ السَّیِّئاٰتِ یَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُۥۚ وَذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظٖیمُ٩اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا یُناٰدَوْنَ لَمَقْتُ اللّٰهِ اَكْبَرُ مِنْ مَقْتِكُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ اِذْ تُدْعَوْنَ اِلَی الْاٖیماٰنِ فَتَكْفُرُونَ١٠قاٰلُوا رَبَّنآٰ اَمَتَّنَا اثْنَتَیْنِ وَاَحْیَیْتَنَا اثْنَتَیْنِ فَاعْتَرَفْناٰ بِذُنُوبِناٰ فَهَلْ اِلٰی خُرُوجٍ مِنْ سَبٖیلٍ١١ذٰلِكُمْ بِاَنَّهُۥٓ اِذاٰ دُعِیَ اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُۥ كَفَرْتُمْ وَاِنْ یُشْرَكْ بِهٖ تُؤْمِنُواۚ فَالْحُكْمُ لِلّٰهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْكَبٖیرِ١٢هُوَ الَّذٖی یُرٖیكُمْ ءاٰیاٰتِهٖ وَیُنَزِّلُ لَكُمْ مِنَ السَّمآٰءِ رِزْقًاۚ وَماٰ یَتَذَكَّرُ اِلّاٰ مَنْ یُنٖیبُ١٣فَادْعُوا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصٖینَ لَهُ الدّٖینَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكاٰفِرُونَ١٤رَفٖیعُ الدَّرَجاٰتِ ذُو الْعَرْشِ یُلْقِی الرُّوحَ مِنْ اَمْرِهٖ عَلٰی مَنْ یَشآٰءُ مِنْ عِباٰدِهٖ لِیُنْذِرَ یَوْمَ التَّلاٰقِ١٥یَوْمَ هُمْ باٰرِزُونَ لاٰ یَخْفٰی عَلَی اللّٰهِ مِنْهُمْ شَیْءٌۚ لِمَنِ الْمُلْكُ الْیَوْمَۖ لِلّٰهِ الْواٰحِدِ الْقَهّاٰرِ١٦ٱَلْیَوْمَ تُجْزٰی كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِماٰ كَسَبَتْۚ لاٰ ظُلْمَ الْیَوْمَۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَرٖیعُ الْحِساٰبِ١٧وَاَنْذِرْهُمْ یَوْمَ الْءاٰزِفَةِ اِذِ الْقُلُوبُ لَدَی الْحَناٰجِرِ كاٰظِمٖینَۚ ماٰ لِلظّاٰلِمٖینَ مِنْ حَمٖیمٍ وَلاٰ شَفٖیعٍ یُطاٰعُ١٨یَعْلَمُ خآٰئِنَةَ الْاَعْیُنِ وَماٰ تُخْفِی الصُّدُورُ١٩وَاللّٰهُ یَقْضٖی بِالْحَقِّۖ وَالَّذٖینَ یَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهٖ لاٰ یَقْضُونَ بِشَیْءٍۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ السَّمٖیعُ الْبَصٖیرُ٢٠اَوَلَمْ یَسٖیرُوا فِی الْاَرْضِ فَیَنْظُرُوا كَیْفَ كاٰنَ عاٰقِبَةُ الَّذٖینَ كاٰنُوا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۚ كاٰنُوا هُمْ اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَءاٰثاٰرًا فِی الْاَرْضِ فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَماٰ كاٰنَ لَهُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ واٰقٍ٢١ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كاٰنَتْ تَأْتٖیهِمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَیِّناٰتِ فَكَفَرُوا فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُۚ اِنَّهُۥ قَوِیٌّ شَدٖیدُ الْعِقاٰبِ٢٢وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْناٰ مُوسٰی بِأٰیاٰتِناٰ وَسُلْطاٰنٍ مُبٖینٍ٢٣اِلٰی فِرْعَوْنَ وَهاٰماٰنَ وَقاٰرُونَ فَقاٰلُوا ساٰحِرٌ كَذّاٰبٌ٢٤فَلَمّاٰ جآٰءَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِنْدِناٰ قاٰلُوا اقْتُلُوٓا اَبْنآٰءَ الَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوا مَعَهُۥ وَاسْتَحْیُوا نِسآٰءَهُمْۚ وَماٰ كَیْدُ الْكاٰفِرٖینَ اِلّاٰ فٖی ضَلاٰلٍ٢٥وَقاٰلَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونٖیٓ اَقْتُلْ مُوسٰی وَلْیَدْعُ رَبَّهُۥٓۖ اِنّٖیٓ اَخاٰفُ اَنْ یُبَدِّلَ دٖینَكُمْ اَوْ اَنْ یُظْهِرَ فِی الْاَرْضِ الْفَساٰدَ٢٦وَقاٰلَ مُوسٰٓی اِنّٖی عُذْتُ بِرَبّٖی وَرَبِّكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لاٰ یُؤْمِنُ بِیَوْمِ الْحِساٰبِ٢٧وَقاٰلَ رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌ مِنْ ءاٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَ یَكْتُمُ اٖیماٰنَهُۥٓ اَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا اَنْ یَقُولَ رَبِّیَ اللّٰهُ وَقَدْ جآٰءَكُمْ بِالْبَیِّناٰتِ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْۖ وَاِنْ یَكُ كاٰذِبًا فَعَلَیْهِ كَذِبُهُۥۖ وَاِنْ یَكُ صاٰدِقًا یُصِبْكُمْ بَعْضُ الَّذٖی یَعِدُكُمْۖ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لاٰ یَهْدٖی مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذّاٰبٌ٢٨یاٰ قَوْمِ لَكُمُ الْمُلْكُ الْیَوْمَ ظاٰهِرٖینَ فِی الْاَرْضِ فَمَنْ یَنْصُرُناٰ مِنْ بَأْسِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ جآٰءَناٰۚ قاٰلَ فِرْعَوْنُ مآٰ اُرٖیكُمْ اِلّاٰ مآٰ اَرٰی وَمآٰ اَهْدٖیكُمْ اِلّاٰ سَبٖیلَ الرَّشاٰدِ٢٩وَقاٰلَ الَّذٖیٓ ءاٰمَنَ یاٰ قَوْمِ اِنّٖیٓ اَخاٰفُ عَلَیْكُمْ مِثْلَ یَوْمِ الْاَحْزاٰبِ٣٠مِثْلَ دَأْبِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعاٰدٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذٖینَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْۚ وَمَااللّٰهُ یُرٖیدُ ظُلْمًا لِلْعِباٰدِ٣١وَیاٰقَوْمِ اِنّٖیٓ اَخاٰفُ عَلَیْكُمْ یَوْمَ التَّناٰدِ٣٢یَوْمَ تُوَلُّونَ مُدْبِرٖینَ ماٰ لَكُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ عاٰصِمٍۗ وَمَنْ یُضْلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَماٰ لَهُۥ مِنْ هاٰدٍ٣٣وَلَقَدْ جآٰءَكُمْ یُوسُفُ مِنْ قَبْلُ بِالْبَیِّناٰتِ فَماٰ زِلْتُمْ فٖی شَكٍّ مِمّاٰ جآٰءَكُمْ بِهٖۖ حَتّٰٓی اِذاٰ هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَنْ یَبْعَثَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ رَسُولًاۚ كَذٰلِكَ یُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُرْتاٰبٌ٣٤ٱَلَّذٖینَ یُجاٰدِلُونَ فٖیٓ ءاٰیاٰتِ اللّٰهِ بِغَیْرِ سُلْطاٰنٍ اَتٰىهُمْۖ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَعِنْدَ الَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُواۚ كَذٰلِكَ یَطْبَعُ اللّٰهُ عَلٰی كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبّاٰرٍ٣٥وَقاٰلَ فِرْعَوْنُ یاٰ هاٰماٰنُ ابْنِ لٖی صَرْحًا لَعَلّٖیٓ اَبْلُغُ الْاَسْباٰبَ٣٦اَسْباٰبَ السَّمٰواٰتِ فَاَطَّلِعَ اِلٰٓی اِلٰهِ مُوسٰی وَاِنّٖی لَاَظُنُّهُۥ كاٰذِبًاۚ وَكَذٰلِكَ زُیِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهٖ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبٖیلِۚ وَماٰ كَیْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ اِلّاٰ فٖی تَباٰبٍ٣٧وَقاٰلَ الَّذٖیٓ ءاٰمَنَ یاٰ قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُونِ اَهْدِكُمْ سَبٖیلَ الرَّشاٰدِ٣٨یاٰ قَوْمِ اِنَّماٰ هٰذِهِ الْحَیٰوةُ الدُّنْیاٰ مَتاٰعٌ وَاِنَّ الْءاٰخِرَةَ هِیَ داٰرُ الْقَراٰرِ٣٩مَنْ عَمِلَ سَیِّئَةً فَلاٰ یُجْزٰٓی اِلّاٰ مِثْلَهاٰۖ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صاٰلِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ اَوْ اُنْثٰی وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ یَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ یُرْزَقُونَ فٖیهاٰ بِغَیْرِ حِساٰبٍ٤٠وَیاٰ قَوْمِ ماٰ لٖیٓ اَدْعُوكُمْ اِلَی النَّجٰوةِ وَتَدْعُونَنٖیٓ اِلَی النّاٰرِ٤١تَدْعُونَنٖی لِاَكْفُرَ بِاللّٰهِ وَاُشْرِكَ بِهٖ ماٰ لَیْسَ لٖی بِهٖ عِلْمٌ وَاَنَا اَدْعُوكُمْ اِلَی الْعَزٖیزِ الْغَفّاٰرِ٤٢لاٰ جَرَمَ اَنَّماٰ تَدْعُونَنٖیٓ اِلَیْهِ لَیْسَ لَهُۥ دَعْوَةٌ فِی الدُّنْیاٰ وَلاٰ فِی الْءاٰخِرَةِ وَاَنَّ مَرَدَّنآٰ اِلَی اللّٰهِ وَاَنَّ الْمُسْرِفٖینَ هُمْ اَصْحاٰبُ النّاٰرِ٤٣فَسَتَذْكُرُونَ مآٰ اَقُولُ لَكُمْۚ وَاُفَوِّضُ اَمْرٖیٓ اِلَی اللّٰهِۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بَصٖیرٌ بِالْعِباٰدِ٤٤فَوَقٰىهُ اللّٰهُ سَیِّئاٰتِ ماٰ مَكَرُواۖ وَحاٰقَ بأٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوٓءُ الْعَذاٰبِ٤٥ٱَلنّاٰرُ یُعْرَضُونَ عَلَیْهاٰ غُدُوًّا وَعَشِیًّاۖ وَیَوْمَ تَقُومُ السّاٰعَةُ اَدْخِلُوٓا ءاٰلَ فِرْعَوْنَ اَشَدَّ الْعَذاٰبِ٤٦وَاِذْ یَتَحآٰجُّونَ فِی النّاٰرِ فَیَقُولُ الضُّعَفآٰؤُا لِلَّذٖینَ اسْتَكْبَرُوٓا اِنّاٰ كُنّاٰ لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُغْنُونَ عَنّاٰ نَصٖیبًا مِنَ النّاٰرِ٤٧قاٰلَ الَّذٖینَ اسْتَكْبَرُوٓا اِنّاٰ كُلٌّ فٖیهآٰ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَدْ حَكَمَ بَیْنَ الْعِباٰدِ٤٨وَقاٰلَ الَّذٖینَ فِی النّاٰرِ لِخَزَنَةِ جَهَنَّمَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ یُخَفِّفْ عَنّاٰ یَوْمًا مِنَ الْعَذاٰبِ٤٩قاٰلُوٓا اَوَلَمْ تَكُ تَأْتٖیكُمْ رُسُلُكُمْ بِالْبَیِّناٰتِۖ قاٰلُوا بَلٰیۚ قاٰلُوا فَادْعُواۗ وَماٰ دُعٰٓؤُا الْكاٰفِرٖینَ اِلّاٰ فٖی ضَلاٰلٍ٥٠اِنّاٰ لَنَنْصُرُ رُسُلَناٰ وَالَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوا فِی الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیاٰ وَیَوْمَ یَقُومُ الْاَشْهاٰدُ٥١یَوْمَ لاٰ یَنْفَعُ الظّاٰلِمٖینَ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْۖ وَلَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوٓءُ الدّاٰرِ٥٢وَلَقَدْ ءاٰتَیْناٰ مُوسَی الْهُدٰی وَاَوْرَثْناٰ بَنٖیٓ اِسْرآٰئٖیلَ الْكِتاٰبَ٥٣هُدًی وَذِكْرٰی لِاُولِی الْاَلْباٰبِ٥٤فَاصْبِرْ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنْبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِالْعَشِیِّ وَالْاِبْكاٰرِ٥٥اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ یُجاٰدِلُونَ فٖیٓ ءاٰیاٰتِ اللّٰهِ بِغَیْرِ سُلْطاٰنٍ اَتٰىهُمْ اِنْ فٖی صُدُورِهِمْ اِلّاٰ كِبْرٌ ماٰ هُمْ بِباٰلِغٖیهِۚ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِۖ اِنَّهُۥ هُوَ السَّمٖیعُ الْبَصٖیرُ٥٦لَخَلْقُ السَّمٰواٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ اَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النّاٰسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النّاٰسِ لاٰ یَعْلَمُونَ٥٧وَماٰ یَسْتَوِی الْاَعْمٰی وَالْبَصٖیرُ وَالَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّاٰلِحاٰتِ وَلَا الْمُسٖیٓءُۚ قَلٖیلًا ماٰ تَتَذَكَّرُونَ٥٨اِنَّ السّاٰعَةَ لَءاٰتِیَةٌ لاٰ رَیْبَ فٖیهاٰ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النّاٰسِ لاٰ یُؤْمِنُونَ٥٩وَقاٰلَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونٖیٓ اَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْۚ اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ یَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِباٰدَتٖی سَیَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ داٰخِرٖینَ٦٠ٱَللّٰهُ الَّذٖی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الَّیْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فٖیهِ وَالنَّهاٰرَ مُبْصِرًاۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَی النّاٰسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النّاٰسِ لاٰ یَشْكُرُونَ٦١ذٰلِكُمُ اللّٰهُ رَبُّكُمْ خاٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَیْءٍ لآٰ اِلٰهَ اِلّاٰ هُوَۖ فَاَنّٰی تُؤْفَكُونَ٦٢كَذٰلِكَ یُؤْفَكُ الَّذٖینَ كاٰنُوا بِأٰیاٰتِ اللّٰهِ یَجْحَدُونَ٦٣ٱَللّٰهُ الَّذٖی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ قَراٰرًا وَالسَّمآٰءَ بِنآٰءً وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَاَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَرَزَقَكُمْ مِنَ الطَّیِّباٰتِۚ ذٰلِكُمُ اللّٰهُ رَبُّكُمْۖ فَتَباٰرَكَ اللّٰهُ رَبُّ الْعاٰلَمٖینَ٦٤هُوَ الْحَیُّ لآٰ اِلٰهَ اِلّاٰ هُوَ فَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصٖینَ لَهُ الدّٖینَۗ ٱَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعاٰلَمٖینَ٦٥قُلْ اِنّٖی نُهٖیتُ اَنْ اَعْبُدَ الَّذٖینَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ لَمّاٰ جآٰءَنِیَ الْبَیِّناٰتُ مِنْ رَبّٖی وَاُمِرْتُ اَنْ اُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ الْعاٰلَمٖینَ٦٦هُوَ الَّذٖی خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُراٰبٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ یُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوٓا اَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا شُیُوخًاۚ وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ یُتَوَفّٰی مِنْ قَبْلُۖ وَلِتَبْلُغُوٓا اَجَلًا مُسَمًّی وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ٦٧هُوَ الَّذٖی یُحْیٖی وَیُمٖیتُۖ فَاِذاٰ قَضٰٓی اَمْرًا فَاِنَّماٰ یَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُنْ فَیَكُونُ٦٨اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَی الَّذٖینَ یُجاٰدِلُونَ فٖیٓ ءاٰیاٰتِ اللّٰهِ اَنّٰی یُصْرَفُونَ٦٩ٱَلَّذٖینَ كَذَّبُوا بِالْكِتاٰبِ وَبِمآٰ اَرْسَلْناٰ بِهٖ رُسُلَناٰۖ فَسَوْفَ یَعْلَمُونَ٧٠اِذِ الْاَغْلاٰلُ فٖیٓ اَعْناٰقِهِمْ وَالسَّلاٰسِلُ یُسْحَبُونَ٧١فِی الْحَمٖیمِ ثُمَّ فِی النّاٰرِ یُسْجَرُونَ٧٢ثُمَّ قٖیلَ لَهُمْ اَیْنَ ماٰ كُنْتُمْ تُشْرِكُونَ٧٣مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۖ قاٰلُوا ضَلُّوا عَنّاٰ بَلْ لَمْ نَكُنْ نَدْعُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ شَیْئًاۚ كَذٰلِكَ یُضِلُّ اللّٰهُ الْكاٰفِرٖینَ٧٤ذٰلِكُمْ بِماٰ كُنْتُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ فِی الْاَرْضِ بِغَیْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِماٰ كُنْتُمْ تَمْرَحُونَ٧٥ٱُدْخُلُوٓا اَبْواٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خاٰلِدٖینَ فٖیهاٰۖ فَبِئْسَ مَثْوَی الْمُتَكَبِّرٖینَ٧٦فَاصْبِرْ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّۚ فَاِمّاٰ نُرِیَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذٖی نَعِدُهُمْ اَوْ نَتَوَفَّیَنَّكَ فَاِلَیْناٰ یُرْجَعُونَ٧٧وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْناٰ رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَصَصْناٰ عَلَیْكَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ لَمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَیْكَۗ وَماٰ كاٰنَ لِرَسُولٍ اَنْ یَأْتِیَ بأٰیَةٍ اِلّاٰ بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۚ فَاِذاٰ جآٰءَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ قُضِیَ بِالْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُناٰلِكَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ٧٨ٱَللّٰهُ الَّذٖی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَنْعاٰمَ لِتَرْكَبُوا مِنْهاٰ وَمِنْهاٰ تَأْكُلُونَ٧٩وَلَكُمْ فٖیهاٰ مَناٰفِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا عَلَیْهاٰ حاٰجَةً فٖی صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَیْهاٰ وَعَلَی الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ٨٠وَیُرٖیكُمْ ءاٰیاٰتِهٖ فَاَیَّ ءاٰیاٰتِ اللّٰهِ تُنْكِرُونَ٨١اَفَلَمْ یَسٖیرُوا فِی الْاَرْضِ فَیَنْظُرُوا كَیْفَ كاٰنَ عاٰقِبَةُ الَّذٖینَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۚ كاٰنُوٓا اَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَاَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَءاٰثاٰرًا فِی الْاَرْضِ فَمآٰ اَغْنٰی عَنْهُمْ ماٰ كاٰنُوا یَكْسِبُونَ٨٢فَلَمّاٰ جآٰءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَیِّناٰتِ فَرِحُوا بِماٰ عِنْدَهُمْ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ وَحاٰقَ بِهِمْ ماٰ كاٰنُوا بِهٖ یَسْتَهْزِءُونَ٨٣فَلَمّاٰ رَاَوْا بَأْسَناٰ قاٰلُوٓا ءاٰمَنّاٰ بِاللّٰهِ وَحْدَهُۥ وَكَفَرْناٰ بِماٰ كُنّاٰ بِهٖ مُشْرِكٖینَ٨٤فَلَمْ یَكُ یَنْفَعُهُمْ اٖیماٰنُهُمْ لَمّاٰ رَاَوْا بَأْسَناٰۖ سُنَّتَ اللّٰهِ الَّتٖی قَدْ خَلَتْ فٖی عِباٰدِهٖۖ وَخَسِرَ هُناٰلِكَ الْكاٰفِرُونَ٨٥سُورَةُ فُصِّلَتْ‎المكية54بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖیمِحمٓ١تَنْزٖیلٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖیمِ٢كِتاٰبٌ فُصِّلَتْ ءاٰیاٰتُهُۥ قُرْءاٰنًا عَرَبِیًّا لِقَوْمٍ یَعْلَمُونَ٣بَشٖیرًا وَنَذٖیرًا فَاَعْرَضَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ فَهُمْ لاٰ یَسْمَعُونَ٤وَقاٰلُوا قُلُوبُناٰ فٖیٓ اَكِنَّةٍ مِمّاٰ تَدْعُونآٰ اِلَیْهِ وَفٖیٓ ءاٰذاٰنِناٰ وَقْرٌ وَمِنْ بَیْنِناٰ وَبَیْنِكَ حِجاٰبٌ فَاعْمَلْ اِنَّناٰ عاٰمِلُونَ٥قُلْ اِنَّمآٰ اَنَا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ یُوحٰٓی اِلَیَّ اَنَّمآٰ اِلٰهُكُمْ اِلٰهٌ واٰحِدٌ فَاسْتَقٖیمُوٓا اِلَیْهِ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُۗ وَوَیْلٌ لِلْمُشْرِكٖینَ٦ٱَلَّذٖینَ لاٰ یُؤْتُونَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَهُمْ بِالْءاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ كاٰفِرُونَ٧اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّاٰلِحاٰتِ لَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَیْرُ مَمْنُونٍ٨قُلْ اَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذٖی خَلَقَ الْاَرْضَ فٖی یَوْمَیْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُۥٓ اَنْداٰدًاۚ ذٰلِكَ رَبُّ الْعاٰلَمٖینَ٩وَجَعَلَ فٖیهاٰ رَواٰسِیَ مِنْ فَوْقِهاٰ وَباٰرَكَ فٖیهاٰ وَقَدَّرَ فٖیهآٰ اَقْواٰتَهاٰ فٖیٓ اَرْبَعَةِ اَیّاٰمٍ سَوآٰءً لِلسّآٰئِلٖینَ١٠ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰٓی اِلَی السَّمآٰءِ وَهِیَ دُخاٰنٌ فَقاٰلَ لَهاٰ وَلِلْاَرْضِ ائْتِیاٰ طَوْعًا اَوْ كَرْهًا قاٰلَتآٰ اَتَیْناٰ طآٰئِعٖینَ١١فَقَضٰىهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمٰواٰتٍ فٖی یَوْمَیْنِ وَاَوْحٰی فٖی كُلِّ سَمآٰءٍ اَمْرَهاٰۚ وَزَیَّنَّا السَّمآٰءَ الدُّنْیاٰ بِمَصاٰبٖیحَ وَحِفْظًاۚ ذٰلِكَ تَقْدٖیرُ الْعَزٖیزِ الْعَلٖیمِ١٢فَاِنْ اَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ اَنْذَرْتُكُمْ صاٰعِقَةً مِثْلَ صاٰعِقَةِ عاٰدٍ وَثَمُودَ١٣اِذْ جآٰءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ بَیْنِ اَیْدٖیهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ اَلّاٰ تَعْبُدُوٓا اِلَّا اللّٰهَۖ قاٰلُوا لَوْ شآٰءَ رَبُّناٰ لَاَنْزَلَ مَلآٰئِكَةً فَاِنّاٰ بِمآٰ اُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهٖ كاٰفِرُونَ١٤فَاَمّاٰ عاٰدٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِی الْاَرْضِ بِغَیْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقاٰلُوا مَنْ اَشَدُّ مِنّاٰ قُوَّةًۖ اَوَلَمْ یَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ الَّذٖی خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ اَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةًۖ وَكاٰنُوا بِأٰیاٰتِناٰ یَجْحَدُونَ١٥فَاَرْسَلْناٰ عَلَیْهِمْ رٖیحًا صَرْصَرًا فٖیٓ اَیّاٰمٍ نَحِساٰتٍ لِنُذٖیقَهُمْ عَذاٰبَ الْخِزْیِ فِی الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیاٰۖ وَلَعَذاٰبُ الْءاٰخِرَةِ اَخْزٰیۖ وَهُمْ لاٰ یُنْصَرُونَ١٦وَاَمّاٰ ثَمُودُ فَهَدَیْناٰهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمٰی عَلَی الْهُدٰی فَاَخَذَتْهُمْ صاٰعِقَةُ الْعَذاٰبِ الْهُونِ بِماٰ كاٰنُوا یَكْسِبُونَ١٧وَنَجَّیْنَا الَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوا وَكاٰنُوا یَتَّقُونَ١٨وَیَوْمَ یُحْشَرُ اَعْدآٰءُ اللّٰهِ اِلَی النّاٰرِ فَهُمْ یُوزَعُونَ١٩حَتّٰٓی اِذاٰ ماٰ جآٰءُوهاٰ شَهِدَ عَلَیْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَاَبْصاٰرُهُمْ وَجُلُودُهُمْ بِماٰ كاٰنُوا یَعْمَلُونَ٢٠وَقاٰلُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدْتُمْ عَلَیْناٰۖ قاٰلُوٓا اَنْطَقَنَا اللّٰهُ الَّذٖیٓ اَنْطَقَ كُلَّ شَیْءٍۚ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَاِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ٢١وَماٰ كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ اَنْ یَشْهَدَ عَلَیْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلآٰ اَبْصاٰرُكُمْ وَلاٰ جُلُودُكُمْ وَلٰكِنْ ظَنَنْتُمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ لاٰ یَعْلَمُ كَثٖیرًا مِمّاٰ تَعْمَلُونَ٢٢وَذٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذٖی ظَنَنْتُمْ بِرَبِّكُمْ اَرْدٰىكُمْ فَاَصْبَحْتُمْ مِنَ الْخاٰسِرٖینَ٢٣فَاِنْ یَصْبِرُوا فَالنّاٰرُ مَثْوًی لَهُمْۖ وَاِنْ یَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَماٰ هُمْ مِنَ الْمُعْتَبٖینَ٢٤وَقَیَّضْناٰ لَهُمْ قُرَنآٰءَ فَزَیَّنُوا لَهُمْ ماٰ بَیْنَ اَیْدٖیهِمْ وَماٰ خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَیْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فٖیٓ اُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِۖ اِنَّهُمْ كاٰنُوا خاٰسِرٖینَ٢٥وَقاٰلَ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا لاٰ تَسْمَعُوا لِهٰذَا الْقُرْءاٰنِ وَالْغَوْا فٖیهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَ٢٦فَلَنُذٖیقَنَّ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا عَذاٰبًا شَدٖیدًا وَلَنَجْزِیَنَّهُمْ اَسْوَاَ الَّذٖی كاٰنُوا یَعْمَلُونَ٢٧ذٰلِكَ جَزآٰءُ اَعْدآٰءِ اللّٰهِ النّاٰرُۖ لَهُمْ فٖیهاٰ داٰرُ الْخُلْدِۖ جَزآٰءً بِماٰ كاٰنُوا بِأٰیاٰتِناٰ یَجْحَدُونَ٢٨وَقاٰلَ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّنآٰ اَرِنَا الَّذَیْنِ اَضَلّاٰناٰ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ نَجْعَلْهُماٰ تَحْتَ اَقْداٰمِناٰ لِیَكُوناٰ مِنَ الْاَسْفَلٖینَ٢٩اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ قاٰلُوا رَبُّنَا اللّٰهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقاٰمُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَیْهِمُ الْمَلآٰئِكَةُ اَلّاٰ تَخاٰفُوا وَلاٰ تَحْزَنُوا وَاَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتٖی كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ٣٠نَحْنُ اَوْلِیآٰؤُكُمْ فِی الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیاٰ وَفِی الْءاٰخِرَةِۖ وَلَكُمْ فٖیهاٰ ماٰ تَشْتَهٖیٓ اَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فٖیهاٰ ماٰ تَدَّعُونَ٣١نُزُلًا مِنْ غَفُورٍ رَحٖیمٍ٣٢وَمَنْ اَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعآٰ اِلَی اللّٰهِ وَعَمِلَ صاٰلِحًا وَقاٰلَ اِنَّنٖی مِنَ الْمُسْلِمٖینَ٣٣وَلاٰ تَسْتَوِی الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّیِّئَةُۚ ٱِدْفَعْ بِالَّتٖی هِیَ اَحْسَنُ فَاِذَا الَّذٖی بَیْنَكَ وَبَیْنَهُۥ عَداٰوَةٌ كَاَنَّهُۥ وَلِیٌّ حَمٖیمٌ٣٤وَماٰ یُلَقّٰىهآٰ اِلَّا الَّذٖینَ صَبَرُوا وَماٰ یُلَقّٰىهآٰ اِلّاٰ ذُو حَظٍّ عَظٖیمٍ٣٥وَاِمّاٰ یَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّیْطاٰنِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِۖ اِنَّهُۥ هُوَ السَّمٖیعُ الْعَلٖیمُ٣٦وَمِنْ ءاٰیاٰتِهِ الَّیْلُ وَالنَّهاٰرُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُۚ لاٰ تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلاٰ لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلّٰهِ الَّذٖی خَلَقَهُنَّ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ اِیّاٰهُ تَعْبُدُونَ ۩٣٧فَاِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذٖینَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ یُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُۥ بِالَّیْلِ وَالنَّهاٰرِ وَهُمْ لاٰ یَسْاَمُونَ٣٨وَمِنْ ءاٰیاٰتِهٖٓ اَنَّكَ تَرَی الْاَرْضَ خاٰشِعَةً فَاِذآٰ اَنْزَلْناٰ عَلَیْهَا الْمآٰءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْۚ اِنَّ الَّذٖیٓ اَحْیاٰهاٰ لَمُحْیِی الْمَوْتٰٓیۚ اِنَّهُۥ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْءٍ قَدٖیرٌ٣٩اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ یُلْحِدُونَ فٖیٓ ءاٰیاٰتِناٰ لاٰ یَخْفَوْنَ عَلَیْنآٰۗ اَفَمَنْ یُلْقٰی فِی النّاٰرِ خَیْرٌ اَمْ مَنْ یَأْتٖیٓ ءاٰمِنًا یَوْمَ الْقِیاٰمَةِۚ ٱِعْمَلُوا ماٰ شِئْتُمْ اِنَّهُۥ بِماٰ تَعْمَلُونَ بَصٖیرٌ٤٠اِنَّ الَّذٖینَ كَفَرُوا بِالذِّكْرِ لَمّاٰ جآٰءَهُمْۖ وَاِنَّهُۥ لَكِتاٰبٌ عَزٖیزٌ٤١لاٰ یَأْتٖیهِ الْباٰطِلُ مِنْ بَیْنِ یَدَیْهِ وَلاٰ مِنْ خَلْفِهٖۖ تَنْزٖیلٌ مِنْ حَكٖیمٍ حَمٖیدٍ٤٢ماٰ یُقاٰلُ لَكَ اِلّاٰ ماٰ قَدْ قٖیلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِنْ قَبْلِكَۚ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ وَذُو عِقاٰبٍ اَلٖیمٍ٤٣وَلَوْ جَعَلْناٰهُ قُرْءاٰنًا اَعْجَمِیًّا لَقاٰلُوا لَوْلاٰ فُصِّلَتْ ءاٰیاٰتُهُۥٓۖ ءَاَعْجَمِیٌّ وَعَرَبِیٌّۗ قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذٖینَ ءاٰمَنُوا هُدًی وَشِفآٰءٌۖ وَالَّذٖینَ لاٰ یُؤْمِنُونَ فٖیٓ ءاٰذاٰنِهِمْ وَقْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَیْهِمْ عَمًیۚ اُولٰٓئِكَ یُناٰدَوْنَ مِنْ مَكاٰنٍ بَعٖیدٍ٤٤وَلَقَدْ ءاٰتَیْناٰ مُوسَی الْكِتاٰبَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فٖیهِۚ وَلَوْلاٰ كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَقُضِیَ بَیْنَهُمْۚ وَاِنَّهُمْ لَفٖی شَكٍّ مِنْهُ مُرٖیبٍ٤٥مَنْ عَمِلَ صاٰلِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهٖۖ وَمَنْ اَسآٰءَ فَعَلَیْهاٰۗ وَماٰ رَبُّكَ بِظَلّاٰمٍ لِلْعَبٖیدِ٤٦

  So who is a greater wrongdoer than him who attributes a falsehood to Allah, and denies the truth when it reaches him? Is not the [final] abode of the faithless in hell? 32He who brings the truth and he who confirms it—it is they who are the Godwary. 33They will have what they wish with their Lord—that is the reward of the virtuous— 34that Allah may absolve them of the worst of what they did, and pay them their reward by the best of what they used to do. 35Does not Allah suffice [to defend] His servant? They would frighten you of others than Him. Yet whomever Allah leads astray, has no guide, 36and whomever Allah guides, there is no one who can lead him astray. Is not Allah an all-mighty avenger? 37If you ask them, ‘Who created the heavens and the earth?’ they will surely say, ‘Allah.’ Say, ‘Have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? Should Allah desire some distress for me, can they remove the distress visited by Him? Or should He desire some mercy for me, can they withhold His mercy?’ Say, ‘Allah is sufficient for me. In Him let all the trusting put their trust.’ 38Say, ‘O my people! Act according to your ability. I too am acting. Soon you will know 39who will be overtaken by a punishment that will disgrace him, and on whom a lasting punishment will descend.’ 40Indeed We have sent down the Book to you with the truth for [the deliverance of] mankind. So whoever is guided is guided for his own sake, and whoever goes astray, goes astray to his own detriment, and it is not your duty to watch over them. 41Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those who have not died, in their sleep. Then He retains those for whom He has ordained death and releases the others until a specified time. There are indeed signs in that for a people who reflect. 42Have they taken intercessors besides Allah? Say, ‘What! Even though they do not control anything, and cannot reason?!’ 43Say, ‘All intercession rests with Allah. To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; then you will be brought back to Him.’ 44When Allah is mentioned alone, [thereat] shrink away the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter, but when others are mentioned besides Him, behold, they rejoice! 45Say, ‘O Allah! Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the sensible and the Unseen, You will judge between Your servants concerning that about which they used to differ.’ 46Even if the wrongdoers possessed all that is on the earth, and as much of it besides, they would offer it on the Day of Resurrection to redeem themselves with it from a terrible punishment, and there will appear to them from Allah what they had never reckoned. 47The evils of what they had earned will appear to them, and they will be besieged by what they used to deride. 48When distress befalls man, he supplicates Us. Then, when We grant him a blessing from Us, he says, ‘I was given it by virtue of [my] knowledge.’ Indeed, it is a test, but most of them do not know. 49Those who were before them [also] said that, but what they used to earn did not avail them. 50So the evils of what they had earned visited them, and as for the wrongdoers among these, the evils of what they earn shall be visited on them and they will not frustrate [Allah]. 51Do they not know that Allah expands the provision for whomever He wishes and tightens it [for whomever He wishes]? There are indeed signs in that for a people who have faith. 52Say [that Allah declares,] ‘O My servants who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah will forgive all sins. Indeed, He is the All-forgiving, the All-merciful. 53Turn penitently to Him and submit to Him before the punishment overtakes you, whereupon you will not be helped. 54Follow the best of what has been sent down to you from your Lord, before the punishment overtakes you suddenly while you are unaware.’ 55Lest anyone should say, ‘Alas for my negligence in the vicinage of Allah! Indeed I was among those who ridiculed.’ 56Or say, ‘Had Allah guided me I would have surely been among the Godwary!’ 57Or say, when he sights the punishment, ‘If only there were a second chance for me, I would be among the virtuous!’ 58[They will be told,] ‘Yes, My signs certainly came to you, but you denied them and acted arrogantly and you were among the faithless.’ 59On the Day of Resurrection you will see those who attributed lies to Allah with their faces blackened. Is not the [final] abode of the arrogant in hell? 60Allah will deliver those who were Godwary with their salvation. No ill shall touch them, nor will they grieve. 61Allah is creator of all things, and He watches over all things. 62To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth, and those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah—it is they who are the losers. 63Say, ‘Will you, then, bid me to worship other than Allah, O you ignorant ones?!’ 64Certainly it has been revealed to you and to those [who have been] before you: ‘If you ascribe a partner to Allah your works shall fail and you shall surely be among the losers. 65No, worship Allah, and be among the grateful!’ 66They do not regard Allah with the regard due to Him, yet the entire earth will be in His fist on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens, scrolled, in His right hand. Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him]. 67And the Trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens will swoon and whoever is on the earth, except whomever Allah wishes. Then it will be blown a second time, behold, they will rise up, looking on! 68The earth will glow with the light of her Lord, and the Book will be set up, and the prophets and the martyrs will be brought, and judgment will be made between them with justice, and they will not be wronged. 69Every soul will be recompensed fully for what it has done, and He is best aware of what they do. 70The faithless will be driven to hell in throngs. When they reach it and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, ‘Did there not come to you [any] apostles from among yourselves, reciting to you the signs of your Lord and warning you of the encounter of this day of yours?’ They will say, ‘Yes, but the word of punishment became due against the faithless.’ 71It will be said, ‘Enter the gates of hell to remain in it [forever]. Evil is the [ultimate] abode of the arrogant.’ 72Those who are wary of their Lord will be led to paradise in throngs. When they reach it and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, ‘Peace be to you! You are welcome! Enter it to remain [forever].’ 73They will say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, who has fulfilled His promise to us and made us inheritors of the earth, that we may settle in paradise wherever we may wish!’ How excellent is the reward of the workers [of righteousness]! 74And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, celebrating the praise of their Lord, and judgment will be made between them with justice, and it will be said, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds!’ 75Surah GhafirMakiha85In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. Ha, Meem. 1The [gradual] sending down of the Book is from Allah, the All-mighty, the All-knowing, 2forgiver of sins and acceptor of repentance, severe in retribution, [yet] all-bountiful; there is no god except Him, [and] toward Him is the destination. 3No one disputes the signs of Allah except the faithless. So do not be misled by their bustle in the towns. 4The people of Noah denied before them and the [heathen] factions [who came] after them. Every nation attempted to lay hands on their apostle, and disputed erroneously to refute the truth. Then I seized them; so how was My retribution?! 5That is how the word of your Lord became due concerning the faithless, that they shall be inmates of the Fire. 6Those who bear the Throne, and those who are around it, celebrate the praise of their Lord and have faith in Him, and they plead for forgiveness for the faithful: ‘Our Lord! You embrace all things in mercy and knowledge. So forgive those who repent and follow Your way and save them from the punishment of hell. 7Our Lord! Admit them into the Gardens of Eden, which You have promised them, along with whoever is righteous among their forebears, their spouses and their descendants. Indeed You are the All-mighty, the All-wise. 8Save them from the ills [of the Day of Retribution]; and whomever You save from the ills that day, You will have had mercy upon him, and that is the great triumph.’ 9It will be proclaimed to the faithless: ‘Surely, Allah’s outrage [towards you] is greater than your outrage towards yourselves, as you were invited to faith, but you disbelieved.’ 10They will say, ‘Our Lord! Twice did You make us die, and twice did You give us life. We admit our sins. Is there any way out [from this plight]?’ 11[They will be told,] ‘This [plight of yours] is because, when Allah was invoked alone, you would disbelieve, but if partners were ascribed to Him you would believe. So the judgment belongs to Allah, the All-exalted, the All-great.’ 12It is He who shows you His signs and sends down provision for you from the sky. Yet no one takes admonition except those who return penitently [to Allah]. 13So supplicate Allah, putting exclusive faith in Him, though the faithless should be averse. 14Raiser of ranks, Lord of the Throne, He casts the Spirit of His command upon whomever of His servants that He wishes, that he may warn [people] of the Day of Encounter. 15The day when they will emerge [from their graves], nothing about them will be hidden from Allah. ‘To whom does the sovereignty belong today?’ ‘To Allah, the One, the All-paramount!’ 16‘Today every soul shall be requited for what it has earned. There will be no injustice today. Indeed Allah is swift at reckoning.’ 17Warn them of the Approaching Day, when the hearts will be at the throats, choking with suppressed agony, [and] the wrongdoers will have no sympathizer, nor any intercessor who might be heard. 18He knows the treachery of the eyes, and what the breasts hide. 19Allah judges with justice, while those whom they invoke besides Him do not judge by anything. Indeed it is Allah who is the All-hearing, the All-seeing. 20Have they not travelled through the land so that they may observe how was the fate of those who were before them? They were greater than them in might and with respect to the effects [they left] in the land. But then Allah seized them for their sins, and they had no defender against Allah [’s punishment]. 21That was because their apostles used to bring them manifest proofs, but they defied [them]. So Allah seized them. Indeed He is all-strong, severe in retribution. 22Certainly We sent Moses with Our signs and a manifest authority 23to Pharaoh, Haman and Korah, but they said, ‘A magician and a mendacious liar.’ 24So when he brought them the truth from Us, they said, ‘Kill the sons of the faithful who are with him, and spare their women.’ But the stratagems of the faithless only go awry. 25And Pharaoh said, ‘Let me slay Moses, and let him invoke his Lord. Indeed I fear that he will change your religion, or bring forth corruption in our land.’ 26Moses said, ‘I seek the protection of my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant one who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning.’ 27Said a man of faith from Pharaoh’s clan, who concealed his faith, ‘Will you kill a man for saying, ‘‘My Lord is Allah,’’ while he has already brought you manifest proofs from your Lord? Should he be lying, his falsehood will be to his own detriment; but if he is truthful, there shall visit you some of what he promises you. Indeed Allah does not guide someone who is a transgressor and liar. 28O my people! Today sovereignty belongs to you, and you are dominant in the land. But who will save us from Allah’s punishment should it overtake us?’ Pharaoh said, ‘I just point out to you what I see [to be advisable for you], and I guide you only to the way of rectitude.’ 29He who had faith said, ‘O my people! Indeed I fear for you [a day] like the day of the [heathen] factions; 30like the case of the people of Noah, of Ad and Thamud, and those who came after them, and Allah does not desire any wrong for [His] servants. 31O my people! I fear for you a day of mutual distress calls, 32a day when you will turn back [to flee], not having anyone to protect you from Allah, and whomever Allah leads astray has no guide. 33Certainly Joseph brought you manifest proofs earlier, but you continued to remain in doubt concerning what he had brought you. When he died, you said, ‘‘Allah will never send any apostle after him.’’ That is how Allah leads astray those who are unrestrained and skeptical. 34Those who dispute the signs of Allah without any authority that may have come to them—[that is] greatly outrageous to Allah and to those who have faith. That is how Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant.’ 35Pharaoh said, ‘O Haman! Build me a tower so that I may reach the routes 36—the routes of the heavens—and take a look at the God of Moses, and indeed I consider him a liar.’ The evil of his conduct was thus presented as decorous to Pharaoh, and he was kept from the way [of Allah]. Pharaoh’s stratagems only led him into ruin. 37And he who had faith said, ‘O my people! Follow me; I will guide you to the way of rectitude. 38O my people! This life of the world is only a [passing] enjoyment, and indeed the Hereafter is the abiding home. 39Whoever commits a misdeed shall not be requited except with its like, but whoever acts righteously, whether male or female, should he be faithful—such shall enter paradise, and they will be provided therein without any reckoning. 40 O my people! [Think,] what makes me invite you to deliverance, while you invite me toward the Fire? 41You invite me to defy Allah and to ascribe to Him partners of which I have no knowledge, while I call you to the All-mighty, the All-forgiver. 42Undoubtedly, that to which you invite me has no invitation in the world nor in the Hereafter, and indeed our return will be to Allah, and indeed it is the transgressors who will be inmates of the Fire. 43Soon you will remember what I tell you, and I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed Allah watches His servants.’ 44Then Allah saved him from their evil schemes, while a terrible punishment besieged Pharaoh’s clan: 45the Fire, to which they are exposed morning and evening. On the day when the Hour sets in, Pharaoh’s clan will enter the severest punishment. 46When they argue in the Fire, the oppressed will say to the oppressors, ‘We used to follow you; will you avail us against any portion of the Fire?’ 47The oppressors will say, ‘We are all in it [together]; Allah has judged between [His] servants.’ 48Those who are in the Fire will say to the keepers of hell, ‘Invoke your Lord to lighten for us [at least] a day’s punishment.’ 49They will say, ‘Had not your apostles brought you manifest proofs?’ They will say, ‘Yes.’ They will say, ‘Then invoke [Him] yourselves.’ But the invocations of the faithless only go awry. 50Indeed We shall help Our apostles and those who have faith in the life of the world and on the day when the witnesses rise up, 51the day when the excuses of the wrongdoers will not benefit them, the curse will lie on them, and for them will be the ills of the [ultimate] abode. 52Certainly We gave guidance to Moses and We gave the Children of Israel the Book as a legacy, 53as guidance and admonition for those who possess intellect. 54So be patient! Allah’s promise is indeed true. Plead [Allah] for forgiveness of your sin, and celebrate the praise of your Lord morning and evening. 55Indeed those who dispute the signs of Allah without any authority that may have come to them—there is [an ambition for] greatness in their breasts, which they will never attain. So seek the protection of Allah; indeed, He is the All-hearing, the All-seeing. 56The creation of the heavens and the earth is surely more prodigious than the creation of mankind, but most people do not know. 57The blind one and the seer are not equal, neither are the evildoers and those who have faith and do righteous deeds. Little is the admonition that you take! 58Indeed the Hour is bound to come; there is no doubt in it. But most people do not believe. 59Your Lord has said, ‘Call Me, and I will hear you!’ Indeed those who are disdainful of My worship will enter hell in utter humiliation. 60It is Allah who made the night for you, that you may rest in it, and the day to provide visibility. Indeed Allah is gracious to mankind, but most people do not give thanks. 61That is Allah, your Lord, the creator of all things, there is no god except Him. Then where do you stray? 62Those who were used to impugning the signs of Allah are thus made to go astray. 63It is Allah who made for you the earth an abode and the sky a canopy. He formed you and perfected your forms, and provided you with all the good things. That is Allah, your Lord! Blessed is Allah, Lord of all the worlds! 64He is the Living One, there is no god except Him. So supplicate Him, putting exclusive faith in Him. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. 65Say, ‘I have been forbidden to worship those whom you invoke besides Allah, as manifest proofs have come to me from my Lord, and I have been commanded to submit to the Lord of all the worlds.’ 66It is He who created you from dust, then from a drop of [seminal] fluid, then from a clinging mass, then He brings you forth as infants, then [He nurtures you] so that you may come of age, and then that you may become aged—though there are some of you who die earlier—and complete a specified term, and so that you may exercise your reason. 67It is He who gives life and brings death. When He decides on a matter, He just says to it, ‘Be!’ and it is. 68Have you not regarded those who dispute the signs of Allah, where they are being led away [from Allah’s way]? 69—Those who deny the Book and what we have sent with Our apostles. Soon they will know 70when they are dragged [with] iron collars and chains around their necks 71into scalding waters and then set aflame in the Fire. 72Then they will be told, ‘Where are they whom you used to worship as deities 73besides Allah?’ They will say, ‘They have forsaken us. No, we did not invoke anything before.’ That is how Allah leads the faithless astray. 74‘That [punishment] is because you used to boast unduly on the earth and because you used to strut. 75Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it [forever].’ Evil is the [final] abode of the arrogant. 76So be patient! Allah’s promise is indeed true. Whether We show you a part of what We promise them, or take you away [before that], [in any case] they will be brought back to Us. 77Certainly We have sent apostles before you. Of them are those We have recounted to you, and of them are those We have not recounted to you. An apostle may not bring any sign except by Allah’s permission. Hence, when Allah’s edict comes, judgment is made with justice, and it is thence that the falsifiers become losers. 78It is Allah who created the cattle for you that you may ride some of them, and some of them you eat; 79and there are [numerous] uses in them for you, and that over them you may satisfy any need that is in your breasts, and you are carried on them and on ships. 80He shows you His signs. So which of the signs of Allah do you deny? 81Have they not travelled over the land so that they may observe how was the fate of those who were before them? They were more numerous than them and were greater [than them] in power and with respect to the effects [they left] in the land. But what they used to earn did not avail them. 82When their apostles brought them manifest proofs, they boasted about the knowledge they possessed, but they were besieged by what they used to deride. 83Then, when they sighted Our punishment, they said, ‘We believe in Allah alone, and disavow what we used to take as His partners.’ 84But their faith was of no benefit to them when they sighted Our punishment—Allah’s precedent, which has passed among His servants, and it is thence that the faithless will be losers. 85Surah FussilatMakiha54In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.Ha, Meem. 1A [gradually] sent down [revelation] from the All-beneficent, the All-merciful, 2[this is] a Book whose signs have been elaborated for a people who have knowledge, an Arabic Quran, 3a bearer of good news and a warner. But most of them turn away [from it], [and] so they do not listen. 4They say, ‘Our hearts are in veils [which shut them off] from what you invite us to, and there is a deafness in our ears, and there is a curtain between us and you. So act [as your faith requires]; we too are acting [according to our own].’ 5Say, ‘I am just a human like you. It has been revealed to me that your God is the One God. So worship Him single-mindedly and plead to Him for forgiveness.’ And woe to the polytheists 6—those who do not pay the zakat and disbelieve in the Hereafter. 7As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, there will be an everlasting reward for them. 8 Say, ‘Do you really disbelieve in Him who created the earth in two days, and ascribe partners to Him? That is the Lord of all the worlds!’ 9He set in it firm mountains, [rising] above it, blessed it, and ordained in it, in four days, [various] means of sustenance, equally for all seekers. 10Then He turned to the heaven, and it was smoke, and He said to it and to the earth, ‘Come, willingly or unwillingly!’ They said, ‘We come obediently.’ 11Then He set them up as seven heavens in two days, and revealed [to the angels] in each heaven its ordinance. We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps, and guarded them. That is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 12But if they turn away, say, ‘I warn you of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt of ‘Ad and Thamud.’ 13When the apostles came to them, before them and in their own time, saying, ‘Worship no one except Allah!’ They said, ‘Had our Lord wished, He would have sent down angels [to us]. We indeed disbelieve in what you have been sent with.’ 14As for [the people of] ‘Ad, they acted arrogantly in the earth unduly, and they said, ‘Who is more powerful than us?’ Did they not see that Allah, who created them, is more powerful than them? They used to impugn Our signs; 15so We unleashed upon them an icy gale during ill-fated days, in order that We might make them taste a humiliating punishment in the life of the world. Yet the punishment of the Hereafter will be surely more disgraceful, and they will not be helped. 16As for [the people of] Thamud, We guided them, but they preferred blindness to guidance. So the bolt of a humiliating punishment seized them because of what they used to earn. 17And We delivered those who had faith and were Godwary. 18The day the enemies of Allah are marched out toward the Fire, while they are in check, 19when they come to it, their hearing, their eyes and their skins will bear witness against them concerning what they used to do. 20They will say to their skins, ‘Why did you bear witness against us?’ They will say, ‘We were given speech by Allah, who gave speech to all things. He created you the first time, and you are being brought back to Him. 21You did not use to conceal yourselves [while perpetrating sinful acts] lest your hearing, your eyes, or your skins should bear witness against you, but you thought that Allah did not know most of what you did. 22That misjudgement, which you entertained about your Lord ruined you. So you became losers.’ 23Should they be patient, the Fire is their abode; and should they seek to propitiate [Allah], they will not be redeemed. 24We have assigned them companions who make their present [conduct] and future [state] seem decorous to them, and the word became due against them along with the nations of jinn and humans that passed away before them. They were indeed losers. 25The faithless say, ‘Do not listen to this Quran and hoot it down so that you may prevail [over the Apostle].’ 26We will surely make the faithless taste a severe punishment, and We will surely requite them by the worst of what they used to do. 27That is the requital of the enemies of Allah—the Fire! In it, they will have an everlasting abode, as a requital for their impugning Our signs. 28The faithless will say, ‘Our Lord! Show us those who led us astray from among jinn and humans so that we may trample them under our feet, so that they may be among the lowermost!’ 29Indeed those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah!’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend upon them, [saying,] ‘Do not fear, nor be grieved! Receive the good news of the paradise, which you have been promised. 30We are your friends in the life of this world and in the Hereafter, and you will have in it whatever your souls desire, and you will have in it whatever you ask for, 31as a hospitality from One all-forgiving, all-merciful.’ 32Who has a better call than him who summons to Allah and acts righteously and says, ‘Indeed I am one of the Muslims’? 33Good and evil [conduct] are not equal. Repel [evil] with what is best. [If you do so,] he between whom and you was enmity, will then be as though he were a sympathetic friend. 34But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except the greatly endowed. 35Should an incitement from Satan prompt you [to ill feeling], seek the protection of Allah. Indeed, He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 36Among His signs are night and day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun, nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah who created them, if it is Him that you worship. 37But if they disdain [the worship of Allah], those who are near your Lord glorify Him night and day, and they are not wearied. 38Among His signs, is that you see the earth desolate; but when We send down water upon it, it stirs and swells. Indeed, He who revives it will also revive the dead. Indeed, He has power over all things. 39Those who abuse Our signs are not hidden from Us. Is someone who is cast in the Fire better off, or someone who arrives safely on the Day of Resurrection? Act as you wish; indeed He watches what you do. 40Those who reject the Reminder when it comes to them... Indeed, it is an august Book: 41falsehood cannot approach it, at present or in future, a [revelation gradually] sent down from One all-wise, all-laudable. 42Nothing is said to you except what has already been said to the apostles before you. Indeed your Lord is One who forgives and also metes out a painful retribution. 43Had We made it a non-Arabic Quran, they would have said, ‘Why have not its signs been articulated?’ ‘What! A non-Arabian [scripture] and an Arabian [prophet]!?’ Say, ‘It is guidance and healing for those who have faith. As for those who are faithless, there is a deafness in their ears and it is lost to their sight: [to them it is as if] they were called from a distant place.’ 44Certainly We gave Moses the Book, but differences arose about it; and were it not for a prior decree of your Lord, judgement would have been made between them, for they are in grave doubt concerning it. 45Whoever acts righteously, it is for [the benefit of] his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is to its detriment, and your Lord is not tyrannical to His servants. 46
