86- Surah At-Tariq

سُورَةُ الطّاٰرِقِالمكية17بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحٖیمِوَالسَّمآٰءِ وَالطّاٰرِقِ١وَمآٰ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الطّاٰرِقُ٢ٱَلنَّجْمُ الثّاٰقِبُ٣اِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَمّاٰ عَلَیْهاٰ حاٰفِظٌ٤فَلْیَنْظُرِ الْاِنْساٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ٥خُلِقَ مِنْ مآٰءٍ داٰفِقٍ٦یَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَیْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرآٰئِبِ٧اِنَّهُۥ عَلٰی رَجْعِهٖ لَقاٰدِرٌ٨یَوْمَ تُبْلَی السَّرآٰئِرُ٩فَماٰ لَهُۥ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلاٰ ناٰصِرٍ١٠وَالسَّمآٰءِ ذاٰتِ الرَّجْعِ١١وَالْاَرْضِ ذاٰتِ الصَّدْعِ١٢اِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ١٣وَماٰ هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ١٤اِنَّهُمْ یَكٖیدُونَ كَیْدًا١٥وَاَكٖیدُ كَیْدًا١٦فَمَهِّلِ الْكاٰفِرٖینَ اَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَیْدًا١٧

Surah At-TariqMakiha17In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.By the heaven, and by the nightly visitor 1(and what will show you what is the nightly visitor? 2It is the brilliant star): 3there is a guard over every soul. 4So let man consider from what he was created. 5He was created from an effusing fluid 6which issues from between the loins and the breast-bones. 7Indeed He is able to bring him back [after death], 8on the day when the secrets are examined 9and he shall have neither power nor helper. 10By the resurgent heaven, 11and by the furrowed earth: 12it is indeed a conclusive discourse, 13and not a jest. 14Indeed they are devising a stratagem, 15and I [too] am devising a plan. 16So respite the faithless; give them a gentle respite. 17
