54- سُورَةُ الْقَمَرِ

خُشَّعًا اَبْصاٰرُهُمْ یَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْاَجْداٰثِ كَاَنَّهُمْ جَراٰدٌ مُنْتَشِرٌ٧مُهْطِعٖینَ اِلَی الدّاٰعِۖ یَقُولُ الْكاٰفِرُونَ هٰذاٰ یَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ٨كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَناٰ وَقاٰلُوا مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ٩فَدَعاٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ اَنّٖی مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ١٠فَفَتَحْنآٰ اَبْواٰبَ السَّمآٰءِ بِمآٰءٍ مُنْهَمِرٍ١١وَفَجَّرْنَا الْاَرْضَ عُیُونًا فَالْتَقَی الْمآٰءُ عَلٰٓی اَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ١٢وَحَمَلْناٰهُ عَلٰی ذاٰتِ اَلْواٰحٍ وَدُسُرٍ١٣تَجْرٖی بِاَعْیُنِناٰ جَزآٰءً لِمَنْ كاٰنَ كُفِرَ١٤وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْناٰهآٰ ءاٰیَةً فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ١٥فَكَیْفَ كاٰنَ عَذاٰبٖی وَنُذُرِ١٦وَلَقَدْ یَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْءاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ١٧كَذَّبَتْ عاٰدٌ فَكَیْفَ كاٰنَ عَذاٰبٖی وَنُذُرِ١٨اِنّآٰ اَرْسَلْناٰ عَلَیْهِمْ رٖیحًا صَرْصَرًا فٖی یَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّ١٩تَنْزِعُ النّاٰسَ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجاٰزُ نَخْلٍ مُنْقَعِرٍ٢٠فَكَیْفَ كاٰنَ عَذاٰبٖی وَنُذُرِ٢١وَلَقَدْ یَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْءاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ٢٢كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِ٢٣فَقاٰلُوٓا اَبَشَرًا مِنّاٰ واٰحِدًا نَتَّبِعُهُۥٓ اِنّآٰ اِذًا لَفٖی ضَلاٰلٍ وَسُعُرٍ٢٤اَءُلْقِیَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ بَیْنِناٰ بَلْ هُوَ كَذّاٰبٌ اَشِرٌ٢٥سَیَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَنِ الْكَذّاٰبُ الْاَشِرُ٢٦اِنّاٰ مُرْسِلُوا النّاٰقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْ٢٧

they will emerge from the graves as if they were scattered locusts with a humbled look [in their eyes], 7scrambling toward the summoner. The faithless will say, ‘This is a hard day!’ 8The people of Noah impugned before them. So they impugned Our servant and said, ‘A crazy man,’ and he was reviled. 9Thereat he invoked his Lord, [saying,] ‘I have been overcome, so help [me].’ 10Then We opened the gates of the sky with pouring waters, 11and We made the earth burst forth with springs, and the waters met for a preordained purpose. 12We bore him on a vessel made of planks and nails, 13which sailed [over the flood waters] in Our sight, as a retribution for him who was met with disbelief. 14Certainly We have left it as a sign; so is there anyone who will be admonished? 15So how were My punishment and warnings? 16Certainly We have made the Quran simple for the sake of admonishment. So is there anyone who will be admonished? 17[The people of] ‘Ad impugned [their apostle]. So how were My punishment and warnings? 18Indeed We unleashed upon them an icy gale on an incessantly ill-fated day, 19knocking down people as if they were trunks of uprooted palm trees. 20So how were My punishment and warnings?! 21Certainly We have made the Quran simple for the sake of admonishment. So is there anyone who will be admonished? 22[The people of] Thamud denied the warnings, 23and they said, ‘Are we to follow a lone human from ourselves?! Indeed then we would be in error and madness.’ 24‘Has the Reminder been cast upon him from among us? No, he is a self-conceited liar.’ 25‘Tomorrow they will know who is a self-conceited liar. 26We are sending the She-camel as a trial for them; so watch them and be steadfast. 27
